I have been here since January and out of nowhere where was told I couldn't stay here anymore. .the staff runs this place who they want here and who should go...also towels once a week and 2 rolls of toilet paper a week is crap for.4 people ...also there pet fee is 30$ a week but...only for some people ...the.workers.here have almost 7!pets each..but they dont pay. Anything...how is this fair ...also other guest don't have to pay for there pet ..only certain people ..I feel it's very segregated here
This place is next to a U-Haul truck rental place and it’s got a small building for the office and the rooms are all on the ground level with no second story and you park right in front of your room, each room has two beds and a bathroom and the furniture and decor is very outdated, but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep for the night it’s cheap enough, but there’s a lot of nicer places only a few blocks up the road. I would not recommend bringing children here, because there are a lot of people pan handling in the parking lot and the nearby convenience store.
I stayed at the hometown inn for 3 weeks total. My room did not come with a fridge or microwave. At my checkout I was told I stole the items and police would be contacted. I explained I purchased those myself about a week ago and could provide receipts. I was told ok do so because EVERY room comes with those items. I got my receipts together and called them back…at which point I was then told they made a mistake about my room. I will never stay here again and I wouldn’t suggest anyone else do so. Management should have had their ducks in a row before calling a customer to accuse them of stealing. Wow!!!!
WE found bedbugs in our suitcase after we got home. we know its from this "hotel" because this was the only place we stayed in. just do yourself a favor and pay a bit more, so you don't have to deal with bed bugs when you get home!!!!!!!
I had paid for a room for a week at the hometown inn. I was assaulted by my boyfriend in which the police took him to jail. I was then kicked out during a snowstorm with my 8 month old baby because police came to my room. I was in sheer disbelief. I was also told that I wouldn't receive it a refund for the remaining part of my stay. Not only do I believe that is illegal it's incredibly bad business. I was definitely victimized twice in one day.
Ive been here around 2 years. Not a horrible place to be. Quiet, not a lot goes on. Staff are cool. Bit of a pest problem but eh what do you expect.
They asked for my sons school ID. He's a minor. It was weird. Stick with a major chain. Safer!
It is a motel and that should describe it perfectly, it could be worse and there are worse in Flint.
