Fish Creek is our favorite place to stay in Door County. The hotel location is perfect; within walking distance to Peninsula State Park, restaurants, and dockside views. The staff are very courteous and take very good care of the hotel. There is no complimentary breakfast but we did not mind. They do have a coffee bar though. Rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy. Will definitely be returning here in the future
The two-room suite was perfect for us. Having a couch that was actually comfortable to sit on was a bonus. The bathroom and shower looked like it was recently remodeled and it looked great. While the rooms are not a "wow!" they were very comfortable and we even had our own patio sitting area. No breakfast here but they are all the same in the hotels anyway - boring! I highly recommend staying at the Homestead Suites.
Overall, this was a really nice place to stay. Our room was really clean. We had a refrigerator, microwave, and outdoor deck. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. However, there wasn't enough parking for everyone. I found this ridiculous. One morning we came out to find people parked on the grass, and out on the road. I believe if you're paying for a room at today's rates, you should have a parking spot in the designated lot.
This room was quite comfortable. We had a bottle of champagne in the fridge ready for us. If you're looking for a private room with a fireplace and hot tub, I would suggest this place. Although the place had a smaller room and was pretty old, it was all we needed to have a wonderful night.
We spent 2 nights for a Labor Day weekend getaway. Rooms were clean and in good repair. Nice outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Next to entrance to the Peninsula State Park. The folks who work here were cordial and helpful. And the price was very reasonable!
The desk lady fantastic casual conversation felt like I knew her forever.Told us about the area food shops etc. Rooms large enough comfortable so quite even with people in the lobby playing games kinda loud didn't hear them at all. The bathroom could be a little bigger trying to get into turn you know. And what the hell put night lights motion in the freaking bathrooms for middle of the night pees. Nice place, right in town. The turn to get into can be busy but it made walking to shops and food easy. The pools were nice for the kids and the rooms were comfortable. Clean hallways, rooms and lobby with a nice self serve coffee bar.
Positive: Room was a suite and sleeper couch was actually comfortable. Pool and whirlpool were nice to have for after dinner. Negative: No elevator, room did not have a cozy feel to i5.
The condo was huge, very clean, and comfortable. The resort hiking/skiing trails were well maintained and we loved our walk around the property. The pool area was well taken care of and warm! The views were gorgeous! We're definitely coming back!
