Our family has returned to Homestead almost every summer.|We had many different kinds of accommodations . Most memorable and best liked is Hawks Nest|Unfortunately throughout the years and especially after Covid there’s a lot missing from what it used to be , probably due to employee shortages.|We always felt very comfortable and welcomed. Last time my husband and I just walked in without reservations and were able to get a room in Little Bell . It was very comfortable, although it is time to remove the big whirlpool tub in the room and perhaps install a double vanity or a more spacious shower.|Altogether it is a beautiful place to make memories with your family and make new friends by the nightly bonfire.

We booked this for our 20 year anniversary. We wanted a quiet mountain getaway, and when we showed up there was a wedding being held there. The music was unbelievably loud. Felt more like Vegas than the woods. As we were checking in the front desk told us the AC was out from a lightening strike a week before. And the ice machines weren’t working so they were handing out small bags of ice. Not starting off great. We went to our room and it was two queen beds (I had reserved a king with a private patio). We went back to the front desk, showed them our reservation and they said they didn’t have anymore rooms available. Asked if there was a manager to help because the girls at the front desk were overwhelmed and they said he had gone home for the night. With as much chaos that was happening at the hotel you’d think they’d have more help. Obviously when you book a specific room you’re expecting that when you show up. As we were talking to them, they were looking stuff up on the computer and said “this room with a king may be available” she said she’d go over and look at it. She did and when she got back she said we could have that room. The instant we walked In We could tell it hadn’t been cleaned. The furniture wasn’t put back, and you could see handprints all over the mirror. The bed was made though. We looked in the bathroom and it definitely had not been cleaned. Toothpaste and soap in the sink, toilet not cleaned, the shower had hair and little rubber bands in it, etc. Also the rooms were beyond hot….not even a fan would help that. These rooms are really expensive and the experience they provide is not worth the cost. It wasn’t worth spending $730 for a couple nights with no air, and loud music blasting. They did give us our money back, and we ended up going back to our home that has AC, ice, a king bed, and is quiet! The next morning we called to talk to the manager Jose about our experience and that made us so mad. He didn’t care, was so rude, never apologized, and said “I have a lobby full of people here that I have to help so I have to go” Disappointed we didn’t get to experience the pool. With proper management this place could be amazing! Midway is gorgeous and one of my favorite places to be. Unfortunately we won’t be staying at this hotel again.

My wife and I came to the Homestead for our 28th Anniversary. The newly refurbished rooms and pool are very nice. The terrain is beautiful with trees, green grass, and the nearby golf course. Mel attended us at the front desk- she was very personable and when she found out we were staying for our anniversary she surprised us with some treats in the room- the gesture was very meaningful to us! We don’t drink alcohol so she gave us grape juice instead of wine. We will be coming back and recommend this venue to anyone!!

We stayed two nights recently as a family of three. Pros: Beautiful property despite the construction. Very nice pool area despite it not being completely open yet. Nicely renovated room with large, well-appointed bathroom. On-site coffee shop is cozy and convenient. Cons: Staff made no mention of assistance or carts being available for luggage at check-in. Considering the long walk to lodging from parking, they should at least ask if assistance or a cart is needed. The main reception building seems to be last on the list for renovation. The reception area definitely is not in keeping with the rest of the property. For this reason, we avoided eating any meals at the main building as its appearance is not attractive or welcoming. Pricing displayed at the Milk House did not match what we were charged on our bill (we were charged more than advertised). Our meal at the BBQ place on the property was not the best. Although convenient to the pool, the tri tip was super dry and bar drinks were very sweet with little alcohol. Front desk staff was not very knowable about the property and the gentleman whom I spoke with on the phone about getting a copy of our receipt was extremely gruff. Overall: Not a bad choice if the price stays down. We wouldn’t stay again if prices increase. And be sure to keep your customer service in check - guests will not return based on that alone.

Room small but nice however no closet. Couldn’t believe it. Asked twice for hangers and room change. No luck. Finally had to go to desk to request hangers in person. They k we about my requests but never honored them. Front desk guy was surly and snarky. Good excellent at event I attended. Grounds lovely. Think twice about rooms when considering.

The homestead property is nice and rooms are nice, but it seems like service is lacking. Seems like the property might be going through a lot of changes, and maybe that's one reason the service seemed lacking. Swimming in the Crater was a cool experience and we had a nice evening at 1866 Grill.

Terrible experience with no closet in room and the. Had to beg for hangers which I finally got and the n used them to ha g my clothing pieces around the room. Also, no chair in room. If I wanted to sit I had to sit on the bed. Poor customer focus. They are depending on the beauty of the are and the new renovations to carry customer experience.

Our experience at this establishment could have been more enjoyable. Our room smelt like smoke. I voiced my concerns to the front desk manager, who seemed not to care. We were told the front desk would work on moving our room. The manager collected my cell phone number and said she would call us for any changes. We have not received this call, so I called the front desk several times. However, they refused to answer. My wife and I were trying to have a relaxing 30th anniversary. However, the Homestead front desk employees seemed to care about something other than how they had given us a room different from the one reserved. The hotel was sold out this week, but we were there a day earlier than the large groups, so we were told management would try to find us another room. If the room had been given didn't smell like smoke and still had burnt cigarettes on the deck, we would have just stayed in the room assigned to us. This was supposed to be a celebration of 30 years of marriage. However, the first two days were pretty stressful. It's hard to recommend a company like this when the front desk personnel refuses to call you back and does not answer your calls.

We came here for an overnight stay. Upon check-in, they told us because we were Wyndham Diamond members, they upgraded us to a king one bedroom suite. It did not disappoint. This room was fully loaded, almost like a studio apartment. If you are ever

This place has a really good view of the entire Heber Valley. You get a 360 observation point it’s very beautiful from all sides. You can make it up by car. The road is very narrow, but very well-kept. The kids loved the view.

Such a perfect way to start the day. The pastry was light, flakey, and oh so delicious. The selection of baked goods was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back.

Very cool place to check out. Everyone was friendly and the water was nice and warm! We paid extra for the snorkel gear, but I wouldn't recommend that - there really wasn't much to see. They keep the attendance numbers low so that you have plenty of

Had a great time with the kids and grandkids! 2 hours of up the mountain, down the mountain! 6 lanes of tubing, about 200 people, maybe a bit less. The lines go pretty fast. The treadmill lift was great. Sign said 7 minutes up, but only 1 time did it
