Very cool place to check out. Everyone was friendly and the water was nice and warm! We paid extra for the snorkel gear, but I wouldn't recommend that - there really wasn't much to see. They keep the attendance numbers low so that you have plenty of room to swim around. The sign on the door said Max 48, but we didn't even have that many in our group.
Amazing experience! You have to reserve online and the tickets are about $20 per person, kids are allowed. I would suggest to wait until your designated time until going inside, or they will have you wait outside until it’s time. The front desk space is really small and quite tight, there are about 4 stalls to change clothes and racks to put your stuff. NO BATHROOMS. Life jackets are required and the water is warm at 97 degrees. The overall experience was really relaxing laying in the water and looking up at the sky. Can get some good pictures before and after.
Booking a spot at Homestead Crater is a must as they tend to fill up quickly, so plan and reserve your slot well in advance. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. While they provide changing rooms, I encountered an issue where they only allow access after the designated time slot. It's advisable to arrive dressed appropriately for your activity to avoid inconvenience. One noticeable aspect was the sulfur smell permeating the area, which might be off-putting to some visitors. Although expected in natural hot springs due to the geothermal activity, it might not be everyone's cup of tea. On the positive side, the Crater is an intriguing geological formation and offers a unique setting for soaking and swimming. The ambiance inside the Crater is serene, and the water temperature is comfortably warm, providing a relaxing experience once you're inside. This might be worth considering if you're seeking a unique hot spring experience.
Just to do something different I flew to Utah to scuba dive here. I knowingly chose to to do something unique. This place is an experience, don’t expect much to see or do. Swimming they hold you to a time slot and are removed at a certain time. Scuba is different. MAKE a reservation or you will not get in!!! I planned and called ahead! Lady on the phone was nice and helpful! If I was a local this would probably be a one time or once every few years thing. Crater is about 40 feet wide and 65 feet deep. Only reason for four star review since I had good expectations was that inside the crater the employee was kind of dry humored which is fine but immediately was telling divers not to go below 45 feet. I mean not much to do or see but not everyone is going down to kick things up. It already had been so without going down you can’t see the “boiling” silt with hot water which is cool to see. Definitely a unique creation by nature and experience!
We went to see the Crater, be prepared to walk steep steps to get to the top, not easy to see anything looking down into the Crater but we liked standing on the bridge. If you want to swim, you need reservations ahead of time. I wish we would’ve made reservations to swim. Homestead property is a beautiful!
It was impressive to walk threw cave about 30 feet into cavern. They do have lockers with no locks. There was a shelf that you could put towels or bag . There are a few small changing booths. You just get to float around in there. They do have divers class going on while we we're there . We enjoy the once in life time experience
The water was really nice but the organization needs work. I don’t like that adults have to wear a vest. They don’t let you in till your exact time. There are only 3 or 4 really tight dressing rooms but like 20 people and they will end your time early so you can change out. They do this while their next group is coming in. It’s very crowded and chaotic. They should add a 30 minute break between groups. The informational intro was great.
Lori was on staff when we came, and she was AMAZING. She was friendly and informative. She took her time to tell all the visitors about the history or the crater, including the mineral makeup. The water is the perfect temperature and having a limited number of tickets available meant it wasn't crowded, which made the experience even better.

This place has a really good view of the entire Heber Valley. You get a 360 observation point itâs very beautiful from all sides. You can make it up by car. The road is very narrow, but very well-kept. The kids loved the view.
The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant offers a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. I had the pleasure of visiting last week for lunch, and was thoroughly impressed. The food was expertly crafted and presented, with flavors that delighted
Such a perfect way to start the day. The pastry was light, flakey, and oh so delicious. The selection of baked goods was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back.
Had a great time with the kids and grandkids! 2 hours of up the mountain, down the mountain! 6 lanes of tubing, about 200 people, maybe a bit less. The lines go pretty fast. The treadmill lift was great. Sign said 7 minutes up, but only 1 time did it
We came here for an overnight stay. Upon check-in, they told us because we were Wyndham Diamond members, they upgraded us to a king one bedroom suite. It did not disappoint. This room was fully loaded, almost like a studio apartment. If you are ever
