Very nice campground! Clean and well kept. Big pull through sites were a plus. Nice and flat sites also. Close to beaches and attractions. Biased 4 stars rating because I need shade when I go camping. Very little trees in transient sites.

Beautiful park. Very well maintained. Two pools and two dog parks. Lots of green space. It has the largest RV sites we have seen, and we have been all over the U.S and parts of Canada. Staff was friendly and helpful. Talking to some of the people who own their sites, they said the management keeps everything looking great and we can say on our visit they sure do. Although we were only there overnight, we would definitely stay here again and longer. You are just a short drive to the beach and you can catch the ferry to Cape Maria. If you have a long rig with a tow, just be careful departing, we had about 12" to spare from a pole on one turn getting out of park. Other than that all was good.

Big beautifully maintained mostly permanent and seasonal campground in a great location. The sites for the temporary visitors are big, fully appointed and very well maintained. Loved the large walkable park with my dogs and the 2 dog parks for them to run loose in. Two suggestions to make this a 5 star. Prohibit political flags that may be offensive to others and while I know the permanent and seasonal residents want to check out the visitors, the constant parade of golf carts on the streets in front of and behind our site was very disturbing, especially when your trying to sit out side with your dogs.

We stayed in a cabin here for a week in August. The cabin itself was great- spacious, fridge, microwave. We typically tent camp, so having access to cold storage for food and a bathroom was a nice luxury. The shared campground areas are clean and well kept. Some of the RV sites look like they passed their hayday decades ago and could use some cleaning. There are some problems and weird things that need to be addressed. The office was only open until 3. After that, there were NO staff. This was annoying, inconvenient, and potentially problematic. We had no problem unlocking our cabin, but if we did it would have required calling a number, leaving a message, and hoping someone called back or stopped by. This came up as a problem when our smoke alarm went off after we tried turning on the heat. A burning plastic smell filled the cabin and the smoke alarm went off. We turned it off as soon as the smell started, but if it turned into something more problematic we would have been left waiting for a return phone call. Far from ideal. The office being closed is also problematic as many of the outside activities have items that can be rented through the office. With it being closed, you can't borrow these items. This turned into a problem when my son wanted to play shuffleboard after a swim. Tough luck, the office is closed for the day. This turned into a minor problem when we had trouble finding the cabin the first day. With the office closed we would have been out of luck for help checking in. We eventually figured it out, but I much prefer having someone from the front office guiding you to your site if you're unfamiliar with the campground layout. Other things that need to be addressed: A pond next to the playground/basketball court with a sign that says "electrified pond" (or something like that). The fence is easily jumped and doesn't go all the way around the pond from what I could tell. One of the evenings we were here there was a group of kids tossing a football. It easily could have went over the fence and one of them jumping it to retrieve the ball could have been a problem. Again, no staff to keep an eye on things and prevent really bad things from happening. I was keeping an eye on things while my kids were there, but before and after these 4 or 5 10 and under year olds were on their own with no supervision. The splash pad is SAD. A few streams of COLD water spraying out of the ground. And the location is odd, next to the adults only swimming pool. I could see parents going in the pool while their kids play in the splash pad, but then what? I think it makes more sense to switch the pools so the family pool is next to the splash pad and the adult only pool is near the main entrance. Otherwise kids have to walk the length of the campground to go from the splash pad to the pool and vice versa. We took advantage of the deal for 1/2 price stays during the week, which made the price reasonable. The full price of $800+ during the week would be WAY overpriced, especially with lots of things closed down during the week. Another great example, the "community room". It was closed the entire time we visited. We've gone to lots of KOAs, Jellystones, and other campgrounds where they left it open morning to night. Why it wasn't opened was beyond me. We peeked in the wifi lounge which looked nice (small) but was never used from what we could tell. We might be willing to stay here again if they figured out a way to allow equipment to be rented while the office is closed after 3. That limits things to the pool and playground mostly. And they need a better way to reach them beyond calling a number and waiting for someone to call back.

Big well kept sites and property, friendly staff. Quiet hours on a Friday night not enforced. Quiet hours could be enforced better. Just saying.....

Second season as a seasonal camper here and cannot say anything negative. The staff are all amazing! Kind and helpful! Janet and Jen in the front office have helped me several times. We love our home away from home and hope to be here many years to come!!!
