Home2 Suites by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach - Extended stay hotel in Wilmington - 5518 Market St, USA

Easy to book and check in and out through the app. We usually enjoy staying at Home2 Suites and this was no different for the amount of space they provide in the rooms. Very much enjoyed having hot coffee ready when we arrived and all through the time we were there since we kept some pretty odd hours this time. Those who have said it is noisy because of the highway traffic— if you are sensitive to that you definitely need to bring earplugs. But those highways take you to a lot of wonderful things to do in Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach.

We were visiting Wilmington to move our daughter in UNC. Nice hotel. Large room. Room was very clean. Very quiet and good nights sleep. Comfortable bed. The lobby was nice. Seemed to have a nice pool but didn’t get a chance to use it. There were a lot of families at the hotel and kids in the pool. We also left early so couldn’t try the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Wilmington.

The location was nice (close to main thoroughfare and many shops). Rooms were clean and nice. My big complaint is my god these walls are PAPER THIN. At any given moment (including at 2:00am) you could hear a dog barking, a large group of very loud teenagers cackling or children running/stomping down the hall and above us. We could not sleep without blasting the loud AC unit and white noise and ear plugs. Also at 11pm the padlock to access our room broke or ran out of battery?? And were waiting for someone to come fix the thing for 20 min. Staff was friendly but also seemed spread thin. Some of the food ran out at breakfast. The gym was nice but pretty small and lots of people were trying to use the equipment. They gave us a small paper bag with two tiny water bottles inside when we arrived. Would have preferred full sized water bottles and skip the bag. They do have a water bottle filling station but its on the first floor so you would have to take said tiny water bottle back and forth. Seems wasteful to offer little water bottles. Overall the experience was fine but we likely will not be staying here again.

We usually like to stay on the beach at Wrightsville but lately the hotel prices there have been north of $600 a night, so we decided to try staying here about 5 miles off the beach. The hotel feels very new and is super clean and trendy/nice in common areas and in the suites. Even the 2 queen bed suite feels very spacious and has a curtain between those 2 beds and the pull out sofa, which didn't have that crumby feel. Nice kitchenette with fuller size fridge and true freezer. The outdoor areas (outside the breakfast buffet area and near the pool are equally nice (pool is on the small side with not alot of loungers for sunbathing). It was nice to have free parking and breakfast buffet although we found the breakfast buffet foods are not restocked that often unlike we've experienced at other hiltons so often out of bagels, etc. The waffle iron needs replaced because it doesn't work properly where the waffles come out easily (even with spray) like they do at other Hilton properties - many had plates of ripped apart waffles. However, it was still nice to have a free buffet and the buffet area is nice so despite this, it was fine and one can always head out to a local restaurant if desired. Pet friendly too - we saw some cute doggos. Had no impact on the cleanliness factor/feeling.

I am unable to say enough good things about this stay. The room was great, the breakfast was great, but the customer service was amazing. I left my charger there and they called me to let me know that they would mail it to me. After a slight mixup up, they were unable to locate it when it came time to mail. Robbie, the manager, took this issue on as his personal mission to get me a replacement charger. He told me to send him what type of charger it was and he would purchase and mail. My charger then turned up and the cord looked a little odd. He said he’d mail it, but on the way picked up an additional cord to FedEx. His customer service skills went so far an above what he really needed to do. I’m so happy with my stay and this attentiveness to my lost charger! Couldn’t recommend enough! Thanks again Robbie!

Amazing hotel in Wilmington with a perfect location in between downtown and Wrightsville beach. The staff were super friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The rooms were clean and spacious and we loved the complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend!

What a great stay. The hotel itself is very clean and rooms are extremely spacious. |Was traveling for business and had a few requests for our stay. Robbie was fantastic in assisting me and my family have the most comfortable stay possible. Without him, the stay wouldn’t not have been as successful. The breakfast was also great and pool area nice to relax by! Would certainly stay again

We stayed at this hotel for Memorial Weekend and it could not have been anymore flawless. As expected the hotel was busy, but it never felt chaotic. There was always someone at the front desk willing to help, regardless of the time and it was always clean. Superb!!
