I checked in just to drop my luggage and leave for a funeral. I noticed the restroom was not fully clean, but had to leave due to the time. When I came back to do a full inspection, my daughter and I had to wipe down everything and thoroughly clean our room at 12 midnight. I reported everything to the front desk. The front desk attendant stated they could possibly increase my honors rewards point. I told her I don't have honors rewards and I was not interested in signing up. The next morning I spoke with the manager who stated 40% would be deducted from my bill only to receive my receipt at checkout with no deduction. She asked if I wanted a cleaning that day and I replied no because I didn't trust it, especially if I've already cleaned it. The manager was not onsite during checkout. The front desk attendant called her and stated my complaint. I was informed the manager would contact me in the morning. So I'm waiting to see if this issue will be resolved. (Pictures were taken)

I had 5 rooms here for 30 days. We’re here assisting in hurricane relief efforts. We work long hours everyday to only come to the hotel to never have towels. The staff told me they have new ones but they keep them locked and can’t access them. They admitted that they were short. One of my rooms didn’t get trash taken out for 6 consecutive days. And a litany of other house keeping issues. I complained to the front desk on multiple occasions and so did the other occupants of our rooms. I spoke to the manager who assured me it would be taken care of only to come back to my room and trash piled up and the housekeepers just left it and threw a couple of empty trash bags on top of it as if was my responsibility. We moved all of our rooms to HOLIDAY INN. Stay away from this one if your plan on staying for more that one night.

When you go to a “Hilton” hotel even if it’s a sister hotel one would think its a good brand but I guess that’s far from it… the picture speaks volumes and it of wasn’t for hotels booked up I would have left as soon as I found d what I took photos of. I w been to a few different hotels over the years and they were better then this place I do not recommend staying here look elsewhere. The higher ups need to do better! Train your people, counter clerks look miserable and wanted to spend more time on their personal phone than be behind the counter. Room floors need to be mopped with clean water, the sink drained out into the dishwasher and flooded, the carpet turned my daughters new white socks brown, pink mold in the shower, dispensers in the shower for soap and all didn’t work or empty, air con filters looked clogged comparable to a dryer lint trap, computer desk was broken, kitchen utensils dirty/ rusting, plates food soiled like rinsed off and put back in the rack. Blood stains on the wall in the bathroom, stuff in the sink drain and disgusting, shower vent did not vent and turned the room into a sauna even with warm water, vent overly dirty. Location was ok but construction made it somewhat out of the way of convenient. Lots of shopping and restaurants around the area. Breakfast was also somewhat uneventful soggy steamed sandwiches, waffles, 3 types cereal, juice, coffee, cold folded egg and cheese however a lot of the options were gone.

Update: Spoke with the manager who is working to get us in the correct rooms for our second night. The first night was really rough but hoping the second night goes better. I booked close to two months ago; two connecting rooms, one accessible because my mom is disabled. I called the day before to confirm because the system would not let me check in. We get there and they don’t have our rooms. They did not have any connecting rooms and if we did want accessible, we would be on two different floors; which would not work because I need to be close to her. One rooms phone and bedside lamp did not work.

Wife and I came here June 21st and stayed over a week. The employees here are very friendly. We are brand new residents of Galveston Texas as we are relocating from Corpus Christi. My favorite employee is Adrian Allen who makes the best blueberry muffins we’ve ever eaten. Got to meet Cody, Alexis, Donna, Veronica, Breanna. Also Aj part of I’m guessing housekeeping and cleanup crew. Everyone is wonderful here. We are originally from Oahu, Hawaii and recently two yrs relocated back to Texas. Decided to move to Galveston. All the employees here made us. Feel so welcome. The rooms are clean and very spacious. So glad we came here. I would recommend to anyone traveling thru this area to stay here. They make you feel like family here. In Hawaii we say Ohana. We will truly miss this place when we are fully moved into our apartment in Galveston.

1. Checking in front desk attendant has no customer service skills none. 2. Room wasn't completed left 3 towels for 4 guests. 3. I went and asked the no customer service having skills attendant for towels she said they were out..out?.. and if I could bring her the dirty ones they would wash and dry and give back. I have stayed at Hiltons all my life and this hotel should be embarrassed at the quality of service. Definitely not the Hilton I remember.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming Cody, Adrian, Alexis, Salina, Veronica, and Omar all did a great job. The breakfast was great with lots of variety with hot breakfast bowls and sandwiches. Really enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we ever go to Texas City. The only issue we had is with the location. It is on a one way street near the highway that has a lot of construction which makes it a little tricky to get in and out of.

This place does not disappoint! My kids and I are beachcombers and had heard there were some nice pickings at the Dike. You do have to pay a $10 entrance fee, but it's worth it. There's plenty of piers to walk out on and fish, boat ramps to load and

Fantastic traditional Mexican food. The pastor and barbacoa super flavorful. The aguas frescas paired well with all the food and the staff was super nice. When we arrived almost every table was full but the staff was attentive and had great service.
