The room was nice and large.
It was disappointing that the cooktops were never available and we stayed here for over a week.
The pool was nice!
The bathroom consistently smelled like mildew.
The selection of food at the market wasn’t very great. There were consistently issues with the room key and the elevators. We ran into other folks on the elevator who also had issues with their keys.
Staff was SO friendly and helpful. They were the nicest people and the best part of our stay.
There's nothing like finding a good, affordable, clean, decent hotel when you're going on vacation. That's exactly what I found Home2 Suites by Hilton to be when we stayed in Savannah, Georgia.
The room was really big and spacious, with a kitchen that accommodated everything we needed. The working pool was also a pleasant addition. It was stocked with towels and a person to make sure that it stayed clean.
They provided a free buffet breakfast with many breakfast favorites; the food was decent. I went with my daughter and grandson, and it was the perfect lodging situation for our budget and comfortability.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It has become my go-to for family lodging.
This place was VERY clean, we booked last minute due to having left another hotel that was ridiculously filthy. The rooms are very spacious, clean, tidy, and overall very comfortable looking. It is filled with lots of convenient items such as a fridge, microwave, dishes, paper towels, and lots of shampoo. I was so impressed. Tasha was incredibly kind and helpful, I appreciate her service! This place lives up to its name it is a lot like a second home!
It seemed we arrived on a hectic day as there were workers painting and we had to wait a while before we were able to check in. The front desk clerk was apologetic and friendly and we understood it was all beyond her control. We did run out of towels and was told housekeeping had not left any extras to distribute but the evening front desk clerk (i wish I had asked her name) and Mr. Alvin came to our rescue and i feel went above and beyond to make sure our room and other rooms were supplied with clean towels. Great customer service at the front desk during our stay. Breakfast was good and our room was clean. The location is nice. We enjoyed our stay and would for sure stay again.
The front desk staff are so kind. I love the multiple outdoor decks and lobby area as it is cozy and offers places to sit, watch TV, and enjoy some coffee. However, there are many minor frustrations about this hotel ESPECIALLY after a long day of travel. Finding the lobby when you initially arrive is stressful. There’s no sign or main door like most hotels. Secondly, in order to use the elevator, you need to scan your key card. This can be annoying if you are juggling bags, toddlers, or forget your card. Another weird inconvenience is the shower nozzle as it’s confusing at first to turn the shower head on. A few other positives is that it is super close to the Wilson gate if you’re military. If you’re someone who needs a constant fan sound, these rooms are great with the AC sound. I’m super sensitive to sounds and had no issue with hearing the people next door. It was pretty quiet. Laundry is alittle pricey at $2.50 for wash and another $2.50 to dry. The rooms had sooooo much storage. Overall, it’s a nice hotel and staff are very sweet.
Hotel staff is excellent and helpful. Had a few issues with the room cleanliness/functionality tho. Sink faucet was loose, the bedside table had some hard residue, the AC unit squealed until I propped the housing up with a towel, and the room had a faint mildew smell. Also, the grounds are supposed to be smoke free, but the entire fifth floor and elevators smelled heavily of weed for a few days. Visible water damage to the sink cabinets in the kitchen area. Hotel staff was notified.
A very big salute to all the staff that work here. You guys were awesome. And I really appreciate all the great conversations. I had and tips that I got from you guys for how to navigate whining and dining in Savannah. My family and I had a great trip here this year and it was all thanks too. The great hospitality that we received at Home 2 suites in Midtown. From the management to the staff that man the front desks, they were awesome five stars
The room was nice but we went to get towels and were informed for two days they had no towels. The bedroom and kitchen area were nice but the shower was horrible. This facility needs better management and updating the showers. How can you have no towels?
What a gem. This is a total find. The apartment is very large and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We were two friends, so I used the sofa bed as an extra room. It worked very well - itâs big and comfortable and, if you ask, theyâ
Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
