We had a good room with two queen beds and a pull out couch. It was spacious which was great for the family. However, we had a problem with the lights- the switches didn’t always seem to work, and in fact we had to sleep the whole night with the shade up because the switch didn’t work. Unfortunately, my boyfriend couldn’t sleep because of the light. The main issue I had was with the pool. It seemed lovely. The water was warm and my daughter and I had a lot of fun swimming in it, but the chlorine and chemicals seemed stronger than normal. We needed multiple showers in order to wash the chlorine off our skin and out of our hair, and the hotels natural shampoo and soap didn’t cut it. I needed to scrub my ring as well as my teeth with a baking soda solution in order to get rid of a weird chemical remnant. I’ve never had this issue before in any public pool. It was quite odd. The staff were friendly. When we forgot our toothbrush, they had one for us.

This Home2 Suites by Hilton far exceeded our expectations in every aspect. This hotel was well located, staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. My complaints are that in the room the pull-out bed in the living area was horrible. Uncomfortable and the springs were very loud and squeaky to the point of waking you up every time you rolled over. Also, the shower head didn't seem to function well. Stuck between 2 settings and we couldn't adjust it. We reported these 2 issues upon our departure (we were only there 2 nights). I also recommend asking for a room NOT facing the I87, otherwise the traffic can be quite noisy at times. And finally the breakfast kept running out of hot food and coffee ran out or wasn't ready early.

We spent two nights at the hotel and had a pleasant experience. It’s close to the highway and a shopping mall and the rooms are good for accommodating a family and everything is quite new. I took a star off because there was mildew in the shower, there was no shampoo when we arrived and they were short of about everything on the morning of the July 5th. Employees were doing their best but it should have been planned ahead.. when you’re short of bread, butter and forks? But again the employees were very nice.

We chose this hotel as we've always had good luck with Hilton Hotels and they're one of the few that we can find that's affordable with 3 beds. My first interaction was with the front desk staff was underwhelming to say the least. The young woman was not terribly pleasant and very short with me. Our room was spacious and clean, but for a room that sleeps 6, there were only 2 bath towels and 2 tissues. Not tissue boxes, tissues. I called the front desk for more towels and was told that someone would be up shortly, but after 30 minutes no one had come, so I called again and was told we needed to go down ourselves to get them. Only 1 elevator worked the entire stay for a 4 floor hotel. Both bikes in the gym didn't work. The pool was so hot that it was un-swimmable for 2 out of the 3 nights we planned to stay there. Literally, the chlorine scent and heat mixture made my entire family sick. We notified the young lady at the front desk, and she just stared and said someone was coming to fix it. But there was no note on the door saying "out of order" or anything. The breakfasts were fine, but refills of the foods were slow to come, and the hot coffees/water were rarely every hot. We wound up leaving after 2 nights instead of 3 because we were so frustrated and disappointed. Had the pool been safe, we may have stayed, I'm not sure. But we basically ran out of there happy to have survived.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms is very nice. Get set up. Great view of the mountains. My only issue is when you go to sleep and if you're on the back of the hotel you can hear the trucks grinding their gears or whatever they're doing. Making a lot of noise wakes you up and it keeps you up. That would be my only complaint about this hotel. Everything else was pretty excellent

My wife and I stayed here for our week-long vacation up to Lake George. Very clean and quiet hotel. Great pool and other amenities. All the desk staff were friendly and greeted us each day with a smile.

The whole building including elevators smelled like wet dog. They do allow pets but thats no excuse. The mop even smelled like wet dog after they cleaned the common areas. Disgusting. The food (breakfast) was not even worth eating. The eggs were like rubber , like they had been there all weekend. The garbage in the hallway on the second floor wasnt taken out for the three days i was there. As soon as you walked off the elevator it smelled like rotten food. Honestly surprised and disappointed. Will never book there again. Disgusting.
