What a dreadful hotel this is. From the broken facilities to the filthy rooms this place is run very poorly. |There are friendly employees and it is a great brand in a fine location. But the leadership should go. |The shower hilariously was stocked with lotion in the wall mounted pump. When I called to ask why I was told they were out of shampoo. Mind you, this property is surrounded by sister brands where shampoo could be borrowed from or purchased. But instead they stocked the shower with lotion (also available on the bathroom vanity next to two hair conditioners.). The scale on the shower and dirt rubbed into the floor made waiting for the slowest arriving hot water even harder. I can’t say anything good about the bathroom. |The pool is closed on a holiday weekend for cleaning. But trust me, any evidence of cleaning is absent. It was a murky green mess on a weekend with temps in the mid 90s. Really could have used a pool…|The breakfast area is super sparse except for a shared waffle maker and literally loaves of bread and multi packs of bagels. There were hot breakfasts of microwaved bowls of what I assumed were once potatoes and a bit of fake eggs. And next to the well Stocked condiments for the missing oatmeal was a sign blaming poor ordering for the lack of cereal. |The fitness center floors were festooned with soiled towels, the TV in that room didn’t work (an act of pure optimism on my part to even try to watch). And the adjoining laundry room was filled with overflowing trash cans and every missing sock in the state of Alabama, all laying on a random set of metro shelving. |I will never stop telling my family members in the area about how awful this place is. If the Hilton company had any pride left at all they would take this property from the franchisees or debrand it immediately.
Good location and nice people, but needs improvement. There was absolutely no parking, so we had to park next door and walk. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat and they only gave us one towel for two people. The AC was a window unit so it was either very hot or very cold all night and loud. The main part of the room was fine on cleanliness, but the bathroom had not been cleaned well in awhile. Lots of hair on the floor and there was so much mildew in the shower that I wished I had brought shower shoes. Breakfast was just OK. We stayed at the Hampton Inn next door last time we were in town, and we will stick with that hotel.
We stayed at this location for a few nights for a work event nearby. The service; especially Kat is top notch. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, all linens and towels freshly laundered. No stains or debris on the couch or chairs. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had (and I travel a lot). There was the typical offerings of waffle bar, yogurt, bagels, toast and cereal but then they added Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage links. I used the laundry room while I was staying which was convenient with an app and there are several restaurants within walking distance.
Horrible experience. Went to Oxford for a baseball tournament & booked the hotel for the breakfast and pool. To our surprise, the pool was closed for “maintenance” and had been closed for upwards of 3 weeks. We were not notified. Showed up to breakfast morning 1…no food. They didn’t order enough food. Day two “the food truck didn’t deliver”. Day 3, they went to Sam’s to finally produce a breakfast. Our room had mildew in the fridge & all over the shower, the food out couch sheets were disgustingly, they limited towels to two per room and you couldn’t get two new ones until you returned the others. And to top it off, THEY RAN OUT OF TOILET PAPER. The customer service was horrible, including that from Chris at the front desk. I have stayed at hundreds of hiltons in my life and never had an experience quite as awful as this one. 12 families, approximately $800 per family & there has been NO resolution for the issues. I do not recommend this hotel.
The room is large but there's tiny furniture. Only a double bed, loveseat, and small chair. And no roll aways. The room is dirty. There was a pile of wet hair on the bathroom floor, the mattresses and pillows are stained, and the bathroom door doesn't close or latch. The kitchen consists of a refrigerator, microwave, and a hot plate. We are stuck here for a week with no other rooms and no refund
Rooms musty and dated. The front desk folks are useless, more interested in their phone than assisting customers or other staff. Breakfast bar never opens on time, and is not stocked well.
Kat, the evening front desk person, made my bad experience with Expedia l, so much better! She was able to sort out the mishap and made everything ok! Couldn’t thank her enough! And the updated too are great. ☺️
This was out first time staying in a Home2 Suites by Hilton. I was very impressed with the front desk staff (Kat) and the room was perfect! we loved the kitchenette! so nice to have coffee in a real cup and real plates and silverware for meals. I have already booked this hotel for our next stay in December.
Very clean rooms, extra comfty beds, and the staff were very hospitable. The price per night is not bad at all compared to the surrounding options. It was a shame we stayed during this cold season, I would've loved to try the pool. It looked very ent
We were here only to use the conference room but it was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and despite the upscale feel of the building and decor the atmosphere was relaxed and calm. This was the best experience I've had utilizing a conferen
Very good place to go and fish, jog, relax, walk, or feed the ducks. We enjoyed looking at the Covered Bridge that is there. The water fountain in the middle of the lake is pretty. I would recommend this place.
This gym is awesome! The staff is super friendly, the gym is clean, there is a ton of equipment to work with, and they have child care! I'm super impressed and will absolutely be getting a membership here.
Not as ritzy as Big Time next door, but 10000 times as fun. Go carts here are real feel gas carts. They aren't as fast as the electric ones next door, but it is a better race experience. Everything in here is old as dirt. So they only charge a qu
