We loved the hotel! Its new and very clean! The room had everything you need, comfortable bed, large screen tv, desk to work at, pull out table, refrigerator, sink and plenty of counter space. The bathrooms were clean with a large shower. The hotel has a nice workout facility and warm salt water pool. The staff were very helpful and friendly! A complimentary warm breakfast was served daily! Also, pet friendly for those who have pets. Only thing missing was cookies in the pm!

We were looking for a pet-friendly hotel for our family of six and had enjoyed a previous stay at a Home2. This hotel exceeded our expectations and our previous Home2 experience. Checking in at 2am, the clerk was very pleasant. At breakfast, we learned the hotel has not even been open two months. Jeri the breakfast assistant was INCREDIBLE. She helped make a waffle when my hands were full and everything was incredibly clean. She was cheerful, positive, and you could tell she enjoyed her job! We've been in quite a few hotels this summer and hands down she has been the best employee we've encountered. The pool towels were not standard too-small towels but actual pool towels. Ample space to park (too full of lots has been an issue this summer!) as well as space to walk our dog around. We weren't able to take advantage of the gym this trip, but I did see it had a rowing machine which I wish I could have taken advantage of. My only 'complaint' with booking Home2 is only receiving 1/2 Hilton Honors points compared to Hampton Inn etc.... But we have found these to consistently be cleaner, updated, and roomier.

We rented 2 rooms for the weekend, one accessible king suite and one standard king. Both rooms were perfect, the hotel was clean, and the free breakfast was over the top. I was very impressed by the accessibility of the king suite. My father is in a wheelchair and was able to navigate the room and access everything with ease. The roll-in shower was ideal. We'll be back for sure!

Shanie the Manager must be given huge credit. She is an outstanding asset to Hilton & Owatonna & the hotel industry. Her ability to work efficiently under extreme stress & be one of the most friendly, professional & kind people I have met in a hotel (and I have travelled a LOT) is par none. Shanie is an absolutely incredible Manager. She worked all night & then all day, due to the IT outage. We were driven 2 hours in from the airport & made welcome by her & the other staff. It is an outstanding experience especially given how horrific the IT outage was, causing them to have to open each time we needed to go back into the room manually. Shanie is one of a kind & we're so grateful to her for her consummate professionalism & kind heart. The actual hotel was great. We didn't intend to stay this was due to our flight being delayed 3 days nor did we intend to visit Owatonna but we're glad in a weird way it happened because Home2 Suites Hilton Owatonna is actually a great hotel. Clean. Well appointed. Good situation. Near stores. Walkable into town. Good breakfast options. Very spacious. Fair priced. Nice set-up in room. Comfortable clean beds. Excellent shower & bathroom. There wasn't a single negative & that's unusual. We were really taken care of & what had been a highly stressful experience coming from the Mayo in Rochester, turned into a few days of walking by the pretty river & appreciating Owatonna. Thank you Shanie; we really hope Hilton knows they have a diamond in you & you ARE appreciated for all you do for your customers. Definitely recommended on all fronts.

Very, very happy with our stay. The hotel employees were all very friendly. Breakfast area was great and many options available. Really nice walk in shower. Would definitely recommend.

Pool was great! Warm and salt water is much better than chlorine! Very clean hotel with friendly helpful staff! The manager is awesome! Thank you!

One of the nicest, cleanest, and most welcoming hotels we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious. Easy access from the I-35 exit. Theater right next door. Do NOT look any further, book this hotel when in the Owatonna area!

Located easily off and accessible to the Interstate. New Facility surpassed our expectations and very cost effective. Breakfast and Heated Indoor pool were nice amenities for our stay just traveling thru.
