Home2 Suites by Hilton McKinney - Hotel in McKinney - 2630 S Central Expy, USA

This is one of our favorite hotels! The sales department and hotel staff are professional, kind, and helpful. The rooms are clean and the location is great. The breakfast is also wonderful! We plan to make this our go to hotel every time we are in the area.

We had a great weekend stay at Home2. The free breakfast buffet was very good and fresh. The hostess was on top of cleaning the entire time, making sure nothing looked over bunched. Very friendly always with a smile! Our room was spacious. Numerous restaurant options just walking distance to the hotel.

The location is perfect, right off the highway. I booked last minute due to power outage. Noelle was so accommodating and kind. We got a nice quite and my kids said 'can we live here?' My kids wanted to walk around and "tour", my daughter stubbed her toe outside when looking at the pool, and Noelle gave us a band aid and was very kind. The suite was clean and very large. It had a curtain to 'separate' the living and bedroom. Price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend or stay here again!

We love staying in Home2Suites because we get our own room while our kids sleep on the pull out couch. There is also a kitchen so we can make quick meals while on vacation and the pool is perfect for the summer! There is also a free breakfast buffet, which is way more than the typical continental and the food is delicious!

Great location, service from Skyler was fantastic, the hotel appears to be fairly new but it has a weird, musty smell to it . The rooms were smaller than most H2S properties,very clean and the beds were comfortable . My flights were delayed and I showed up 7 hours later than expected at 1:15 am. I requested for a digital key and I never received confirmation from the app that it was ready. When I checked in at the front desk, Skyler told me that the digital keys weren’t operational and key cards weren’t working too. This issue had been around for almost two weeks! So for a guest to get access to their room, a hotel employee has to open each room with their master key….every time! lol! Come on , Hilton! You can do better than this! This is such an inconvenience for your guests, absolutely ridiculous, and unacceptable!

The staff at the Home2 Suites in McKinley Texas went above and beyond for our family. We had left an item behind at the hotel that could not be replaced. The staff looked for days to locate the item and immediately shipped it back to us. We will be forever grateful for the above and beyond service. Thank you! I had booked a room for my daughter and I for Mothers Day. Super cute room and friendly staff. Unfortunately I enjoyed it until it was time to call it a night. I was awake for most of the night from itching bug bites that cover head to toe. I was freshly showered, went to bed just to itch all night and be covered by bites in the morning. I took photo evidence of them and the staff didn't care to look at them. They "checked" the room and said that there was no evidence of bed bugs and didn't offer any help for my troubles. Definitely put a damper on my Mother's Day as well as take some of my confidence the complete opposite I wanted to feel today. Luckily my daughter and I still made the most of it. If you plan to stay here, just avoid room 309.

The hotel layout is awkward. Parking is to the sides and back, with the elevator at the front of the building. The most obvious entrance into the hotel is the side entrance. Evening hotel staff is terrible except the very sweet lady (30s/mid 30s caucasian lady/ she was only there 1 night during my stay). She would walk over to the side entrance and let people in. Fire the young girl. I don't ever say that because it is usually a training issue. With her, she is entirely too inconvenienced when she has to do her job. Otherwise, she is on her phone and cursing in the lobby. Every time your hotel phone rang, it was a ughhh moment for her. Rooms are what you get for a Home2. Only reason for the 4 here is due to the mildew smell post turning the AC down to 68 in my room.
