Came here again for a business trip and I was surprised how much the area had changed. The first time we came there was no fence surrounding the building, the shrubbery was well kept, and it was inviting. This time it felt kind of like a prison, one way in and out, outside was not as appealing, and I know its mainly because of the homeless problem that has arisen. However, the staff is extremely nice and extremely accommodating. I was in the hotel when some rude customers walked in and gave the staff trouble, it wasn’t the staff’s fault, customer came in with an attitude. I know they cant do anything about the surrounding hotels either, not their properties. However, when i first came to this property 2-3 years ago, the area was great and we enjoyed it. We still had a good stay, but it could’ve been better.

My spouse & I stayed at Home2 Suites and unfortunately, the experience was less than satisfactory, primarily due to the behavior of the manager. From the moment we arrived, the manager's attitude was unwelcoming and unprofessional. Despite several attempts to address our concerns politely, we were met with dismissiveness and a lack of courtesy. This was particularly disappointing given the hotel's reputation and the expectations we had prior to our stay. Upon check in, my spouse was advised he was unable to check into the hotel although a listed guest on the reservation for this exact purpose. We knew my spouse would be arriving prior to myself, and he would need to check into the hotel. However; I made the reservation because we travel together most frequently and we have accumulated several Hilton Honors points. In addition to, I am the Hilton Honors account holder as I worked at another Hilton property for several years. The manager of the front desk advised my husband that there was a policy that he could not check into the hotel, although a registered guest on the reservation. This front desk manager canceled the reservation linked to my Hilton Honors account and created a new reservation all together. Truthfully, this would have been a non issue for a 1 or 2 night stay. However, we are staying at the property for 25+ days and paying over $2500 for our stay. We were excited to be accumulating our Hilton Honors points. We have spoken with Hilton Corporate whom advised that a registered guest is indeed able to check into a hotel, which is why there is an option to add a registered guest when making a reservation. We are working with corporate to have this issue resolved; however, it did not have to be an issue to begin with. The rest of the staff were courteous and tried their best to be helpful, but the manager's behavior overshadowed the positive aspects of our visit. It is crucial for a manager to set a positive tone and lead by example, but unfortunately, this was not the case during our stay. I hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues to improve the overall guest experience. A welcoming and professional attitude is key to maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring repeat business. In addition to, the dryers were out of service. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and in a great location.

Zero if possible. Avoid this property. Bad reviews aren't great to do, this has to be a warning to people. It's in an awful location next to what appeared to be drug hotels. The staff was RUDE at check in and check out. The whole place is filthy, run down, damaged and smells like mildew. Worst Home 2 Suites we have ever stayed in. Hilton properties are going down hill fast. Marriott is way better. Do better Hilton and get this property repaired and better staffing.

I rented a room here for three days... Here was my experience: 1) Room bathroom sink overflowed the entire time I was there, would not drain normally whatsoever. I requested service at lobby desk, was told that they would fix it and that never happened. Definitely not expected given the cost paid (almost $500 for three nights). I deducted a star for this on overall rating. 2) I work remote, at all hours of the day. So, I kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the knob from check-in thru check-out. On day two, a young lady employed by hotel came and knocked on door, not once, not twice... Like 3-4 times and wasn't leaving until I answered. So, I get up, answer the door and she was literally staring at her cell phone and said "Oops, wrong room". Frustrating at the very least. So, I deducted a star for this on overall rating. 3) The location had a bunch of construction in the evening times. The major entrance street was closed at night making any attempt to leave for a meal, etc. a nightmare. Not Hilton's fault, but still affects the overall customer experience. Given the room functional issues, the lack of support in repair, staff ignorance, etc. I will not be staying at another Home2Suites in the future. There are just too many options and competitive deals with companies to even consider doing business with companies that struggle delivering the basics of their trade, in my opinion.

Arrived early, checkin was available. Good parking spaces. Once there, didn’t really need the car as a very short stroll to several restaurants. Room was good, clean and bed was comfy. Everything worked as advertised. |Elevator was a little slow.. beats walkin…|Front desk was very helpful & friendly. I shall return!!

Do not book at this hotel. The absolute worse customer service I have ever received from Hilton. As a diamond member, who books literally hundreds of stays with Hilton for myself and my management team, was being told by their front desk team, that management would fire them if they checked my wife in. Whoever is running that hotel should be separated from Hilton. I booked a room for myself and my wife and I was delayed due to a cancelled flight. My wife, who was on the reservation as a guest, attempted to check in and they refused her. They told her one, that they did not have digital check in via the Hilton Honors App, so I could check in, and they then could not check her in unless I was there. They told me and my wife that they would be fired if they checked her in. They gave my wife the Diamond 800# to call in to resolve and they then cancelled my reservation completely, twice. The Hilton Customer service for Diamond members told me that they were working outside the policy and they should have checked her in. In fact, I booked another reservation for a Hilton hotel in the area and she drove over and checked in. Do not use this hotel and I am instructing the 118 direct reports I have, and blocking out their ability to book home 2 suites in our business travels. I am also calling to see if we could use Marriot as our preferred vendor moving forward for my entire work group.

Do not book at this hotel. Diamond member, booked a room for myself and my wife, I got delayed due to a cancelled flight. They turned my wife away and would not let her check in even though she was on the reservation as a guest. Called into the 800 number for diamonds and they told me they were out of policy but they basically cancelled my reservation and I had to book another hotel. Horrible. Do not stay there

Positive: Breakfast was pretty good. Room is great for the price and clean. Negative: Air conditioner was kind of loud but overall the hotel was great.
