The food is just as amazing as the customer service. And the atmosphere when you walk into this place! Makes you really feel like you're at home. Come and check it out, I promise you. It will definitely be worth it. Good old Southern Home cooking. And you don't have to cook it yourself!!!, and it's reasonable price.

They're OK. The food is either too salty or bland. It's just good for when you don't feel like cooking and don't Want a hamburger. The best thing on the menu is the hamburger steak. The Mac n cheese is always salty, I stopped getting it and the fish is not good at all, way too salty. The prices are a tad steep for the amount you get as well. The review about the lady in the front at the cash register is accurate.

Fast service,tense atmosphere, servers on buffet are not user friendly, makes it so uncomfortable when ordering 😑. I still go and buy however I honestly dreed going in there. I definitely would not dine in because of the tense atmosphere. I always get to go order. Cashier is always nice only reason I go back.

It was me and my lady, first time there, we went thirty mins before they closed and it was like we was being rushed, and they didn't take the time to explain the food, and just assumed we knew about what they had on the bar. The hamburger steak was good, but the green beans were salty. I'd visit again, but it will be earlier in the day when the servers are more patient.

First time here, very good food. Could use a little more flavor but that's just me. Not a complaint at all. Definitely will be back.

Great meat & three comfort food, served cafeteria style. Beef tips on Tuesdays and Sunday it's specials are fork tender Roast Beef along with Chicken and Dressing. Make your tummy happy and give Home Plate Diner a try.

Food okay! Portions are very small! Could be a little more generous for the price! Hamburger steak cooked to done, dry! Chicken pot pie bland! Marie Calendar's is better! The plates shown with big portions, not accurate for everyone!

In the interest of honesty I'll tell you I know the owner. He's a great guy and a good man. The food is flavorful and the prices seem fair. The atmosphere is no frills but comfortable. I eat because I must, I eat here because I like it.
