Love taking walks around the lake, beautiful views.

Thank you Holmes Lake for being a safe and beautiful place to bring my client with severe Autism. My individual also needs constant access to a bathroom, and Holmes Lake has been one of the only parks in Lincoln that consistently has a bathroom available. This park is a blessing

What a beautiful lake! We took our nephew fishing there and it was really great. We usually fish at another lake but decided to try Holmes, and we're happy we did! Very clean!

9/12/2023 I've only been here a couple times, but this seems like a nice place to visit. Stopped by to pick up our granddaughter after her truck practice was done.

We had a birthday celebration for my Mom and everything was great. Only one very bad and nauseous experience. Went to use the restroom and it was locked, ???, then a lady wrapped up from head to toe while another had the sink full of water cleaning herself and poop in the drain hole. Is this allowed if so, never will be back. This was so disgusting.

I love holmes lake. Good for walks/hikes, bike rides, scenic views, fishing, etc. There is a playground for kids as well. Super fun.

Don’t go here—I don’t want it to be too crowded during the 2020 Covidopocalypse! But come on, water, wind, + ducks lotus flowers red-winged blackbirds barnswallows skimming the algae patch for lunch... Two or three families walking the little ones, kids or dogs, somebody napping in a hammock, old guy on a bench, couple sharing a sandwich at a picnic table, and us. Us: either a man & his much-better-looking wife (ain’t that always the way, guys? Admit it: we’re the lucky ones), or grandpa with granddaughter, enjoy the best life has to offer, a blue sky & a breeze, passing the fishermen of all ages & varieties on the banks, and looking over at the one you love to see love reflected back at you. There is no better day than today. May the blessings rain upon you, insh’allah. (I’m no religion—> please insert your god of choice here.) Ample parking and walking paths, right in the city of Lincoln!

Beautiful park with man-made reservoir close to the Lincoln. You can do fishing, enjoy kayaking, jogging and play volleyball etc during summer and do sledding in the winter.Also can reserve some areas with summer huts with electricity and BBQ stove grill.
