This App State Convocation Center is definitely one of the finest in the Basketball community. We had the opportunity during 2023 Elite Camp to see behind the scenes. I definitely came away with; that the coaching staff has a Family First attitude within the men’s basketball program. This program deserves every basketball player looking at D-1 to look into their success and support of their basketball athletes.

One of the best mid major college basketball arenas in the country. Set in the beautiful mountains of Boone NC, the Holmes Center has great seating! Parking deck is just a short walk and the staff is full of “southern charm”
I was super impressed and really enjoyed my day here covering Southern Conference wrestling. The Holmes Convocation Center is a state-of-the-art facility that can accommodate events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences and concerts. With over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a large arena and flexible meeting rooms, the center is perfect for hosting everything from business meetings to weddings, concerts, and sports events.
Parking is too far from the building, especially in cold weather. The restrictions on purses for women is ridiculous, as I had to walk my wife's purse back to the parking garage when they deemed it to be too large, when they could very well have just asked her to open it and show the contents. Not allowing people to bring in water, or sell it during our daughter's graduation, was absolutely ridiculous! The event itself was very good, and mostly comfortable and accommodating, except when it got warm in there and someone finally turned on the air.
The Holmes Convocation Center was an amazing venue for my daughters high school graduation. The building is wonderfully built and easy to get around.

I've been going to Boone Docks for a while now and I can't say enough about this place. You get high quality, detailed instruction and the coaches are always willing to spend some one-on-one time helping you improve. The community is really positive
Awesome gym. If youâre a student at App State, donât even bother going to the SRC. The gym there sucks and center 45 has great setters and interesting boulders that they reset frequently.
Very nice place . The venue was intimate . The personnel working there are very accommodating especially those at the front desk . They can not refund my like a scam ticket from ticketcity but they did apologized how they were able to get in the way

Great park thatâs fenced in, has lots of parking. It has random toys all over for the kids to play with and a sandbox with a ton of sand toys. It has six saddle swings, four infant seats and two swings for older children who need more assistance. H
