Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit - Roller coaster in Orlando - 6000 Universal Blvd, USA

The ride is amazing. Great amount of airtime on this one! It's track is also very smooth. The special sauce here is the fact that you can choose your personal song, so each time you ride the experience will be different. You should definitely miss out on this one!

Exhilarating fun ride! Not for beginners, this is a wicked sweet coaster that will keep you laughing and screaming for more. If you can manage to look around, there are great views of the surrounding area. It reminds me of Cedar Point's Maverick, but maybe the red track is what's making me think that. Please take everything out of your pockets and use the nearby free lockers, it speeds the line up if you people who can't read the directions try to get by the metal detectors with your phones. It's not going to work and you'll get pulled aside, wanded, then sent over to the lockers anyway. Don't say you didn't know....

A very fun ride. Can be a bit bumby at times, and the music selection could be updated. The non inverting loop welcomes guests who might fear the thrills, but the high speeds and quick turns still make this ride worth it for the real thrillseekers. It's a classic.

Amazing and fun for thrill seekers! This can be scary for some people, but in the end, it’s amazing! You can pick your own song to listen to as you ride, and you have a large selection. It goes pretty fast. The seats are secure. In my opinion, the worst part is when you go up vertically. I would love to ride this again! 10/10

I had high hopes for this coaster, but I was left disappointed from the ride experience. First, it starts out extremely intense because of the vertical accent. Then, once you go over and into the first loop, the roughness and headbanging begin. For a ride that was built in 2008, it should be running fairly smooth, but this was not the case. Both the mummy and the hulk gave extremely smooth rides compared to this thing (probably because they have been modified over time). I'm not sure if the RIP Ride Rockit has been adjusted over the years, but if it hasn't, now would be a good time to.

Paid $306.00 to take my adult daughter to see the Harry Potter thing when she came to visit for her to have some much needed fun. Talked her into riding the riptide rocket roller coaster waiting in line few minutes worst mistake of my life very scary ride hurt my neck however because of the experience I purchased the after ride video of my daughter and I watch the video while we were there brought the DVD home put it in the DVD player and it does not show my daughter and I in fact it doesn't show us or anything at all paid $40 for the video to commemorate the experience on top of the outrageous amount to get in The gas it cost to drive down there The lines we waited in very disappointed and now I have no way of getting the video back or getting a refund for my money Way to go universal not impressed with my first visit and probably will never be back

Great coaster! One of the more thrilling ones I've ever been on, but the kids (11,13) loved it too - and very fast loading to boot.
