Hollywood Inn Express North - Motel in Los Angeles - 5131 Hollywood Blvd, USA

The place was very nice and all. The only complaint would be noisy neighbors when they come back late at night. And you can hear the noisy motorcycles riding thru the streets. For a cheap price, it was still an ok place since I hardly see any dangers walking from and to the subway which is like 5 minutes away. And the place is close to the Griffith observatory where we also wanted to go. Overall, I will give it 4/5 since I was able to do things I wanted to do in North Hollywood.

I was staying in a tent by the airport until violently attacked n hospitalized, I rushed release from the hospital just to make sure I didn't miss my reservation for March 28th. I budget my money just so I can rent weekly every month. If I could afford to stay daily I would. If I felt that there was anything wrong with this property n or staff I would take my business elsewhere. I've stayed at many motels on this strip n this one is by far the most convenient for it is within walking n wheelchair distance to stores n restaurants n food carry out n hospitals n for me my doctor office n bus stops to get to my doctor n the hospital she's affiliated with. Because it doesn't have wheelchair access the challenge has helped me to push my limits to walk again even if it hurts. I'm actually thankful n grateful for that n to the owner for not making a fuss about my being in a tent outside near the property but not on the property. I haven't tried staying anywhere else since paying to stay here, if there is hope I hope that the do not rent list I was forced to be on by the 12-8am desk clerk doesn't last long, what bothers me about it is that he saw me on the property as a guest n waited until I got to my tent to use that situation against me, a situation I was forced to be in; in the meantime I'll just work on saving my room rent money until I can rent again or leave the country. Oh, I've come across some guest that were nice, it's not just the friendly staff that attracts me to this establishment, it's worth every penny I spend here. I choose to not smoke in the rooms n it's not because of the $115 fee, it's cuz it's a rule that should be respected, they even paid to have the carpets cleaned with disinfectant to avoid guest getting covid, I like that too. Oh, n I can keep an eye on my tent n wheelchair too. I still have a ways to go with my healing process, getting a room helps too, a bathtub to soak in for detoxing, a mini fridge to put ice packs in, a bed to relax on, pillows to elevate leg n foot, wifi to watch movies, they have flat screen tv, but I rather watch movies on my cellphone, working outlets to charge phones n portable chargers, blow dryer, but I use my own. If you need anything best staff 8am-4pm/4pm-12am.

Overall, it was a great experience. Friendly office staff and quick check-in/out. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our family of 6 to hang out in. The only con was that you could hear a lot of the street traffic/noise, but it wasn't really a big issue. They do have a small parking lot, and we didn't have any issues looking for parking. They do have wifi, which was nice.

This little hotel I thought was going to be a gamble by the reviews. I'm glad we took a chance because we loved it. The room was very large, everything was very well wiped down and the beds were clean. The sheets were old and could use some TLC, along with a few other things in the room. But for the price and the location it was an awesome stay. Lots of restaurants and bars close and about 1.4 miles from the walk of Fame. Worked perfectly for our family since we love walking. Will definitely be coming back!

The room isn't homey! It lacks space to rest items.  No closet or dresser space. No microwave to heat up food.  Made me feel very awkward.  It's an awkward room.  The limited outlets were very inconvenient. The hanging TV over the table was scary.  The pool is positioned in such a way that you feel quite exposed to the street.  The place was clean.  But very uncomfortable. Needs some touch-ups on paint. I checked out earlier than planned.  Needed a more mentally comfortable place to end my West Coast trip.

Les chambres sont globalement propres. Mais personne n’a changé ni les draps, ni les serviettes, ni les poubelles en 3 nuits passées ! Autrement, l’emplacement est bon même si c’est très bruyant la nuit. Le parking est pratique. L’accueil est convenable et l’extérieur de l’hôtel est un peu ancien et glauque.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Not even sure why I am wasting my time writing a review because as you can see by all the bag reviews they don’t do anything. The customer service was absolutely horrific during check in. The AC and TV didn’t even work in our room. It was dirty in our room and the showers hardly have water pressure. Vending machine was sold out the whole weekend. Just everything about this place is awful. Don’t stay here it is NOT worth the few extra dollars. PLUS you will hardly be able to sleep because you can here EVERYTHING and EVERYONE all around you

Low pressure shower Polyester shower towels No mat in the bathroom I had a two beds room but only one chair at the table and one room key The small fridge don't freeze nor cool. Barely works. The deal with this hotel is the location and having parking spot, but I feel doesn't match the money spent. For a little different you can find better worthwhile deals
