I dunno man every time Iv been there it’s sketchy. The camping area was being used as a dump site, I found used needles around the fishing lake, and there are always some shady looking folks just sitting in the parking areas not doing anything.
Always lots of wildlife out here. Free public boat launch. Always people fishing. Also has camping in the back
A good sized park with some rough camping spots and lots of walking trails. It maybe muddy after the rain
With my experience here so far Other hunters have been inconsiderate and or just inexperienced one of the two. Several of my hunts have been messed up because of this issue.

We stayed here a few years back....we needed a private place to rest and grieve....my parents passed away within 3 mos of one another....they gad retired in this amazing area of the USA....I felt calm and relaxed here....best choice to relax your mind and ❤ heart! My husband chose this sweet place on his own...I was pleasantly surprised and it was exactly what I needed! God Bless everyone there!
Decent lake for boating and fishing but very limited on and recreation other than those 2. Water was super muddy looking and even stained my fishing line brown, what's with that? The best fishing spots are only accessible by boat as the parameter road only goes around half way. Bank fishermen are limited to the docks and South side of lake. Gravel road around lake is filled with huge potholes, don't bring a sedan through it unless you enjoy bottoming out your vehicle.
