Are you kidding me. Oh my gawd its old and fun. Wyn is a amazing human. He takes pride in his place. Its just got that historic old here I am feel to it. Clean and free WiFi. Mini fridge and microwave. He makes coffee and loves to chat. A keeper for me.
The rooms weren’t unsanitary or unsafe, but not worth the $400.00/ week. Wen Y Chang is a nice man and is flexible, however I don’t see the value of that rate without a comfortable mattress, phone or internet in the rooms. I literally had to start cleaning the rooms while staying there, it’s simply unacceptable for a guest to have to feel like having to do this. PLENTY OF POTENTIAL
I used to live right by this hotel in Anacortes so I know the area well. I'm not really sure what some of the other reviewers are on about with the references to hookers. I've never seen any in this area including during my two day stay. Perhaps they know something that I don't. What I experienced was an older hotel that could use some up-dating. The room was clean, not immaculate but clean enough. The floors, bathroom, counters, and bedding had clearly been attended to but it was time to replace the shower curtain and wash the window curtains. Only some of the plugs in my room had been up-dated so I did have a hard time finding a spot to plug in my three pronged computer plug. Anacortes is small so everything on commercial is within walking distance. Bus service to the ferries is also near by.I never heard a peep from any of the other guest while I was there. I would recommend this place to a budget conscience traveler.
It wasn't too bad considering. Everything was a little grimy but for 50 $ what do u think ur gonna get ? The people around me in rooms were GREAT but that only goes so far
Oh, man. What horrible reviews! I go to Anacortes a couple times a year, to visit relatives and I always stay at the Holiday Motel. It IS older. It is also half the cost of the next cheapest motel. But the sheets are clean, the people are friendly and helpful, and WiFi is free. There is a small tv, two double beds and a little refrigerator. Yep, it can be loud at times, but folks eventually settle down. I just take a fan to help block out the noise. Seriously, I stay here and often with my 88 year old mother and we've never had a problem or been disappointed. No. It's not the Hilton. It absolutely IS old. But a lot of good things are. And you have the bowling alley next door, with the best fish and chips in three counties. : ) Give the Holiday a try. You might be surprised.
It was a roof when I needed it and the people were a great group of people very friendly and family orientated had a good stay thank you Mr.Whin
Pretty much slumlord housing nothing is updated or working properly pretty sure there's mold inside walls
Management is a decent and seems to understand the normal struggling citizen.
I had a great experience during my recent stay at Anacortes Inn, leadership under new management makes a world of difference. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. They were attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist, making
