Holiday Motel & Suites - Motel in Santa Monica - 1102 Pico Blvd, USA

Stayed here on an emergency basis in 2015. Couldn't find anything else that took pets. It appears that the only way this place stays in business is that all the people that stay here are homeless and using vouchers for a free place to sleep. It was SO bad, I couldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! The bed looked clean until I turned down the bedspread and saw menstrual blood all over. There's no air conditioning and it gets pretty hot in the rooms. You can't open the front window and opening the back window is creepy because someone might come into your room while you're sleeping. When I went to take a shower, everything was full of muck and mold and dried slime. Then the real horror became visible................the water didn't go down and I was standing in the diseases of every other person who had ever been in that shower stall! I think it would be healthier to sleep out on the street than ever staying here.

The room was in really bad shape and there were a lot of tweakers around. Lots of flies and I saw one cockroach. Good point is NO BEDBUGS that I could see and I did not have any bug bites when I woke up. In an emergency it's a good place to sleep for the night. Probably not good for an extended stay.

Dope dealers room is next to mine and the tweakers can't tell the difference between room 1 and room 2... , been here two nights and already I've seen 2 people taken away on stretchers and a room broken into. The owner is real nice and the security guard is awesome , they do what they can with the people they have ...i believe my experience was special to my room. There were no bugs in my room.

The bathroom was filthy as was the the room but maybe not quite as bad as the bathroom. I think they charge way too much for what you get in return. I guess the good think about the place is that they pretty much leave you alone I had extra guests come by and they didnt seem to mind

The guy who works here overnight is awesome. The sanity complimented by the quality is not so good. But the guy help the best way he could when addressed about the problem. He was redirected by his boss to follow unsafe protocols in the time of need when it comes to prpoer guidelines being met as they should be according to laws protecting customer from unfair and unsafe living quarters not up to par with laws regulating motels and hotels. With the proper checks and qualified inspectors this place wouldn't last an official inspection. Therefore leaving some without a job. Wake up and get it together owner. Fix it up or it may be taken away.

If your looking for one night stay or a couple of hours then look no further by far this is the best out of the cheapest hotels in Santa Monica, keep in mind out of the cheapest this is the best one, price range is a little tricky for locals it will be cheaper then tourists, while if your a tourist only here for couple if days this is your hotel for women u dont after worry about your safety cause everyone keeps to their on room and they wont be constantly nagging you, but the best part is location by far the best all u need to do is walk 4 blocks to Lincoln their u can catch the first bus to where ever u wanna go either to downtown, the train, Hollywood, the beach (if u dont wanna walk 10 blocks). Again the best out of the cheapest

Worse hotel in my life! There was bedbugs and the towels had stains on it. The room was kept unclean. There were spiderwebs all over the ceiling, and the room smelled like piss and cigarettes. Beware do not stay here. Very high rate. This place needs to get shut down.

The conditions were disgusting. As we walked into the room, it was obvious that they had not cleaned. I took the bed spread off revealing stains and cigarette burns. There was hair stuck to the towels in the bathroom, and some....thing on the pillow case. The shower curtain was covered in mold on the bottom... DO NOT STAY HERE. DISGUSTING AND A WASTE OF MONEY!
