Holiday Lodge Motel - Motel in San Diego - 672 E San Ysidro Blvd, USA

I almost got scammed by the attendant. My friend and I told the attendant we wanted to park here for only 1 day. The attendant then told us it's $24. I pointed out that it's $12 for 1 day. He replied by asking, "do you want to risk it? the car will get towed." I was disrespected as a customer. If you want honest service, go somewhere else. I do not recommend this place.

The room is very basic, unfortunately I've seen a few roaches, the lady comes by every morning sometimes a little too early to give us towels and toilet paper, the prices are average but the location is the best. Being this close to the border is very beneficial to me so it's good.

We were warned by the other reviews so I can't say we hated it since it was pretty much what we were expecting for for the last available room in the whole San Diego area cheaper then 150$... So anyway,the linens were so used they were fading,with lots of old stains,they were washed but so old,they should change them. And paint the walls. And clean the bed frame. The bathroom was very old too and it'd be fun to know if anyone has ever used that shower. It's noisy because it's in the middle of I-5 and the border. The staff was anyhow very nice and helpful. If you're there in a Saturday night and don't want to spend a lot of money that's what you get.

Kind of a small place but really cool because it's close to the border and they didn't really bother you either they let my friend fixed my car in the parking lot and didn't complain not once so I appreciate them great grace

DO NOT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! I wish I didn’t have to post even ONE star, as I paid to park there monthly ($250 cash, which in San Ysidro is a decent amount of money) and a few weeks later was scared to death as a grumpy, nasty, old man, who is apparently a damn employee of the lot, rapidly approached my vehicle & began cursing & yelling at me. I then contacted the manager who gave me little resolve, assured me that Mr. Nasty Old Dude had done this many times before, but, it doesn’t seem to matter to them!! If you’re a woman, or have wives, mothers, sisters who are going to be here, I suggest you look elsewhere!!! There are many other lots on the border & I’m moving to those others as I type. If you care about your dignity & safety, don’t do it!!! They don’t even have the decency to offer me an apology!!!

Place was not bad at all.but the tile floor is slippery when your feet is wet,so when you're coming out of shower,the first step coming out is a lu-lu.when a person is a fall risk and has a walker to get around,maybe not good idea.staff was friendly. Room was clean.

It's full of bugs and unless you speak Spanish you aren't going to get much help from the staff. They run it very poorly and try to only give you 6 nights when you pay for seven then they want you to book extra nights and when you do they still try to give you less nights than you pay for. IT'S A DUMP AND A RAT TRAP!!!!!!!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! it's small, noisy, and not very comfy. But, it's clean the staff was very nice, and it's a place to lay ur head down if u only have $50. I'd stay again!
