Okay so we came from Michigan. When we 1st got there we entered a tiny parking area and it was hot. Only one patron at a time can go in the office so it was a long wait to even get our keys to our prepaid room.
Secondly parking is in the back so you have to drive a few blocks around the corner to park. Which isn't the end of the world but it's not a good start.
So we got to our room and the 1st thing that hits you is the ac (which was nice) and along with that musty air. The mustiness stayed in my clothes and I could still smell it on the airplane.
Then the room was not the room pictured. Our room was supposed to have two full beds but instead we got stuck with a king and 2 pull out couches 🛋 for the 5 of us. (and no they weren't comfy)
Since we had a private patio we decided to stay. That helped some with the noise. The rooms are well insulated, but they are old. My niece actually got locked in the bathroom because the door didn't work properly.
My feet were black every time I walked on the tile. And the dishes were okay but not great. The manager tried to help buy we had no internet. We saw no bugs thankfully.
The pool is an amazing saltwater pool. The only reason to go there other than the proximity to the ocean. Make you decisions wisely 😉
Check in was ok nice people. No hot water no.coffee cups no water glasses. Hair dryer did t work no silverware or dishes,it has a refrigerator and a microwave but it's not the same. We have been staying there on and off for 20 yrs . The use to have a beach theme paintings everywhere and now.its all white . Different management and owners not the same. It used to have a mom and pop feeling. We will not stay there again and I don't recommend it to anyone unless your a scummy person.
This place is not what it is represented on the travel sites.
Pool closes at 9pm, security cameras always watching
Visitors have to pay $20 a day parking fee so their car doesn't get towed. You can't park at the actual hotel you have to park behind the hotel where your vehicle is not seen.
I have never stayed at a place that had as many rules as this place does.
The water in the shower only gets hot after running for 10 minutes and only stays warm for about 5 minutes
The pictures make it out to be much nicer than it is. I unfortunately got a non refundable room for myself, mom, aunt and my 3 year old. We were able to check in early, the man at the desk was very nice and accommodating, but when we walked in the room it reeked of mildew. We changed, went to the beach then decided to just drive home (only 2.5 hours). If the room hadn't smelled so bad, we still probably would not have stayed. However, if you aren't picky or young and need a place, it would probably be ok.
The reviews on other websites are highly misleading. My family was stuck due to the technology glitch, after looking at several places to get us by for a few day I chose here, and it was a big mistake. The photos on the website make the place look much nicer than it is even close to. As soon as we pulled in I knew we had made a mistake, had to ring the door bell to get someone to answer, then plastic over the window made it all but impossible to hear the desk attendant on top of language barrier. After check in we went to our rooms, 2 of 3 were disgusting. One had stains on the bedsheets and the other had bugs on the bed. The facility smelled of weed, and we were privileged enough to explain to our 3 children as to why a male and a female were doing what they were in the pool. Unfortunately this establishment is in a great location but that’s about all. We told the desk we were checking out immediately and they referred us to corporate in Spain for a refund as to which we have not heard a response after two emails.
OMG, what a piece of junk, the hotel was falling appart, customer service is inexistent. Weird dirty place! Did book it thru a third party website, was so unhappy with the place, had an argument with the only person that was available at the reception, was threated very bad. Strange thing, that my reservation was canceled on the last day so I was not able to leave a review where it was made.
Only good thing is the location. Right across the street to the public access to the beach. As soon as you open the door the musky smell hit you. The room was dirty and we didn't even stay. We ended up driving back home.
I planned this vacation as a birthday present for my Uncle and his therapy dog. I paid in full for 7 nights back in January. The person I spoke back in January said there would be no pet fee or deposit. When we arrived, I got charged $110 for a pet fee. Then they came to me and said they needed a $50 refundable deposit. I complied. The day after that I was told the refundable deposit is $100. This vacation was so stressful for my Uncle and myself. Our family usually stays at the Schooner close to this hotel. I talked to the manger there and they now accept pets again whether emotional therapy dog or not with no fees. It saddens me that they will be tearing it down soon we would have stayed there had I known that. The only this good about this establishment is that that have a very good housekeeping staff.
The park offers many different options. Dog park, baseball, courts, a large grassy area that can hold a bazaar or a market, and has some parking with additional parking nearby at the supermarket if they donât mind! The waters close by so you can fi
This is a fun place to listen to live music and feel like youâre on a vacation at a beach. Plenty of Outside seating makes it comfortable for those that want to be near the fun but not part of the crowd inside. The inside is a laughing chatty atmos
Super cute kava bar! Everything was b1g1 when I went - really good deal. Their kava was better than pretty much any other bar Iâve been to as well. Bartender was nice and informative too! Would definitely come back if Iâm ever in the area :)
This was hands down the best restaurant we ate at the whole time we were in Treasure Island. (Including way better than Spinners!) The sushi was so fresh and delicious; I had the Good Friend and Mexican Sunrise rolls. The massamam curry, ginger beef,
