HIYC is a wonderful place. My husband and I spent the entire month of April there and we couldn't be happier with our experience. People, guests as well as employees, are all very nice. The little apartment we stayed in was perfect, and the pool and view of the intercoastal were just beautiful. In addition, the location is excellent. It is an easy walk to the beach as well as lots of restaurants and bars. This is a small, older establishment that has a very homey feel to it and caters mostly to older folks. Hope to return soon.

Home away from home. Full equipment apartments just in the intercostal and 5 minutes walking distance from the beach and major Fort Lauderdale places. Little jam in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.

I’m in love with unit #12. It’s such a beautiful apartment with comfortable furniture. The location is excellent and has a gorgeous view of the intercostal. There are plenty of chairs to enjoy the night sky with friends. I’d highly recommend staying in unit #12 anytime.

From day one when I called to ask questions about the property and location, Jocelyn was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in Unit 7 and it worked well for my family of 4. Jocelyn even recommended a cot instead of pulling out the sofa bed. It was the perfect location. The kids enjoyed the pool and only having a 10 minute walk to the beach. We were within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We even scheduled a ride on the water taxi that picked us up directly in front of the property. The unit was clean and the grounds were well kept. We will definitely return. ||||FYI-This is a late post but decided to write this while planning the next visit.

Holiday Isle Yacht Club is a very friendly place to stay. Jocelyen was absolutely the best. She was very helpful and a very sweet person.||Holiday Isle Yacht Club is not a Yacht Club. But it is what I was looking for.||The reason I wanted to stay here was because you don't need a car. Water taxis will bring you to all the hot spots( But not during the boat show, they shut down service). Also the beach golf carts will pick you up and bring you anywhere on the main road for $5. And of course Uber. I never waited more than 5 mins for either.||The hotel is a nice. Pool is great. It has the mom and pop feeling. Not a big hotel chain feeling. The room has what you need, even if you were to cook your meals there. I stayed in room 19. Room was what I needed. TV in living room didn't work, but I wasn't there to watch tv. TV in bed room was fine. Wifi worked well. 2 AC units, both were quite and worked great. Walls are a bit thin, I could hear the people above me walking around. But not to much. Bathroom was OK. Could use a bit of freshening up. The deck was great. Perfect outdoor furniture. Blends right into the boardwalk on the inter coastal. I would stay here again, But only if the water taxi is running.

We are a family of 4 and stayed at HIYC for 2 nights prior to a cruise. We really loved this place! We were in unit #28. It was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. It was nicely renovated with a great kitchen and comfy beds. The best part was the balcony overlooking the intracoastal. We never tired of sitting out there.||||Jocelyen at the front desk was very helpful. We walked to the beach, used scooters to go to Publix, and walked to dinner at wine + garden. || I highly recommend HIYC for any type of stay, short or long term... a better option than a hotel.
