Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre - East Mountain, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Wilkes-Barre - 600 Wildflower Dr, USA

By far one of the worst places I’ve stayed in. Through out our stay our keys would not stay active! Had to keep running to the front desk to get it fixed. Our door had to be slammed closed or it wouldn’t close at all! During breakfast there was no one there to tell us that there was a menu option included with our package. YES THERE IS A MENU YOU CAN GET FRESH FOOD FOR BREAKFAST!!! My 2 eggs over easy came out to one. Water on the bathroom floor upon arrival. No paper in the printer! Just not very well kept. Also no microwave or fridge in the room. Atmosphere is kind of gloomy in every part of the hotel! POOL AND HOT TUB ARE SAME TEMP heater in the hot tub doesn’t work.

We arrived late, after a long hard drive through rain, fog, winding hills, and dark of night. We were greeted by Letisha at the front desk who absolutely made our stay better. Big smile, friendly, and considerate, she was just what we needed upon arrival. Thank you, Leticia, you are to be commended. The rooms are clean and a relatively good size. We had a short but quiet stay in a comfortable king bed. Wish there was a small fridge and/or microwave in the room but we managed. The breakfast buffet was limited but sufficient. Definitely need to up the game on the coffee. The server was perfect, although I didn't catch her name to give her specific kudos. Overall a good stay and can recommend.

Amazing staff, amazing stay. We had four rooms for our family for our son’s wedding. The staff were amazing and very caring, from the front desk to the restaurant, to the staff that cleaned rooms. Hotel was nice and convenient to our venues.Shout out to Daniel, sales manger, very good, always there if we had questions. Did a family dinner last night and they set up a special area for us. Have fun

Our stay was great. Room were clean. Staff were very friendly and nice. We got to see how beautiful it looked with all the snow coming down. Parking lot got clean quick. Had no complaint. Great place to stay in.

Had a medical procedure that required a 6AM check in time. Living 1.5 hours away and having young boys, would of had us having to get up at 3:30AM to make it in time. The fact that this hotel was, literally, mins from the hospital greatly helped relieve some stress of that day. Our reservation process was simple and quick and they offered us a hospital discount The room, even though some reviews said they were dated, was actually one of the better rooms my family and I have been in. I can't speak for all the rooms, but our room looked very modern. I rated this a 4 only for a couple minor issues. Shower pressure could of been a little better, if wasn't horrible, but for me, I like a heavy hitting shower. There was a little cosmetic wall paper peeling, again not major, but it stood out to me seeing how the rest of the room looked. Lastly, I wish I had known about kids eating for free 12 and under as long as adult meals were purchased during reservation, could of saved a little bit of money. All and all, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone having to under go surgery. Great location, good price, and lots of other resturants in the area if you didn't want to eat there.

I don’t even know where to start with Holiday Inn-East Mountain. If I could give them 100 stars as a review I would. From the start to end they were amazing. Daniel, Shirley, Kyle and the rest of the whole staff was phenomenal. They listened to me and helped me every step of the way. I would look forward to my sit downs with Daniel to go over the wedding details. They set my wedding up beautifully, the food was amazing, and went above and beyond. My wedding was absolutely stunning and we had the best time as did our guest. If you are looking to have a wedding here I would 100% recommend it. You will enjoy the team you work with and you will love the end result. They are wonderful! My wedding dream come true!

Very nice hotel! One of the best we’ve stayed at since we started our trip 10/17/23. Got a great price going thru Trip Advisor and then Expedia - only paid $107 which included taxes and breakfast! When I called IHG (I’m a member) they quoted $154. Thank you Trip Advisor!!! |Big room, front desk guy was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and great view! Will definitely stay again if in the area and I can get this kind of deal!!

I was greeted with a smile when i walked in everytime by whoever was behind the front desk. I spoke briefly with Leticia , Regan and Tiffany and they were all super nice. Hotel was very quiet and had comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was very good also. I look forward to my next stay
