A solid 3.5, this Holiday Inn is conveniently located off the Interstate in the suburbs of Toledo. Our room was clean. However, a few issues including the fridge outlet being broken. We moved a fridge in from another room. Appreciated being able to do that since we did not want to move our party of six room to room. No apology or thanks though. Shower pressure was probably the weakest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The front desk worker was having a smoke while someone was waiting to check out. I did not swim, but my kids did, they felt the water was not the cleanest. Those things do matter. I liked the location and the cleanliness, but the details really impacted our stay!

This is so hard but to be fair with the rating I had to drop it. Although I’d rather have 5 stars but there is one thing that really should knock it down to at least 2 stars and that’s Air Conditioning. We debated on walking in before making our online reservation and decided it looked nice enough outside it wasn’t necessary. HOWEVER, had we walked in first we would have walked right back out. It’s 90+ degrees out and the lobby wasn’t much cooler than that. We hoped when we got off the elevator it would be better in the hallway but it wasn’t. 86° not to mention being on the top floor heat rises. The only thing that saved our stay is the room was somewhat cool. The bathroom was not. We bring our own fan and put it in front of the AC cranked to 64° and it struggled to get comfortable. 64° is too cold for us but not here. Was told winter is just as cold as summer is hot. Maid did not clean the fridge from past guests stuff. Two ice packs was left in the freezer. Funny: hotel room numbering So what brought the rating higher? Front desk employees was super nice every single time we walked into the hotel lobby. The room was clean. Blankets seemed fresh Bathroom was clean AC thank Goodness was not on a motion sensor or we would have been GONE Hotel was quite Shower was good Mattress was comfortable Check out was good.

Visited with my 5-year old after attending a Girl Scout event at the Toledo Zoo. After a full day out in the sun, driving over an hour home just didn't sound fun. So we opted for a hotel stay. Chose them due to their proximity to the zoo (about 15 mins away), and that they have both a pool & on-site restaurant. ||The room was good; comfortable bed, clean, cool, we slept fine. No noise issues on the 5th floor. I did notice the rest of the hotel was at a very warm 85, I think the thermostat in one of the halls said. With the heat wave going on, that seemed a little insane, but our room itself was quite cool. We loved that the pool was also nice and cold. ||Only complaint with our room was that we couldn't get the tv to turn on. I suspect the remote needed new batteries, but by the time my 5-year old was trying the tv I was trying to get a shower and get ready to leave, so it didn't seem worth looking into.||My main complain was with the restaurant on-site. We did dinner with them, and it was lovely. The menu is kind of upscale, the wait staff/bar tender was fantastic, and I LOVED the pork chops. Really great experience. But then we did breakfast with them the next morning....and it just wasn't the same. Breakfast staff wasn't attentive, it took a good 10 minutes to get someone to bring my 5-year old the kids menu. Then when she went to order, she orders the oatmeal, and the waitress acts like she's spouting nonsense. I had to point out that its one of the selections on the kids menu....apparently she had never looked at the list of items on their menu, but they don't actually do oatmeal. I got the 2 egg breakfast, with potatoes, toast and meat. Its the one pictured in their elevator, but the picture is just a lot more appetizing. Despite the picture having 2 slices of toast, you only actually get one. Then when we went to pay, I notice the bill has $5 for a side of bacon, despite the menu saying its $4. I mentioned it to the waitress, and she did take off the $1 difference, but she also let us know this happens all the time..... And apparently they don't mention it, & haven't bothered to either change the code they are ringing under or reprint the menus. They just know they are charging you an extra $1 and I guess hope you won't notice.|Breakfast felt....shady & really felt like they were trying to give you as little as they could get away with...||Aside from that, the stay was nice. I just wouldn't do breakfast with them again.

Maumee is roughly an hour from my house, but coming from the Wheeling area and needing to be in Fort Wayne the next day, it made sense to spend a night rather than driving up and coming right back down.||I had called Mike asking if I could check in around noon since I had to immediately head to downtown Toledo after. He said it was fine, especially being a platinum member. I get there, and it’s Mike, with keys and paperwork ready for me. Props to him! I dropped off my luggage in the room then immediately left.||Hotel is right next to the Turnpike off Reynolds Road. It’s a slight hassle to get to. If coming from the south it’s better to enter off Dussel.||Came back around midnight and it’s the larger room. Not a suite, but there is a sitting area. Everything was clean. TV had a decent selection, water pressure in shower weak. Slept well which is the main thing.||Checked out around 8- that was smooth too.||There is breakfast available but you have to pay. There’s also a pool (no hot tub) but I didn’t have time to use it.||If needing another stay in the Toledo area, this is one I would consider.

The guy and girl at the desk memorial weekend were amazing. The girl that checked us in though, we asked for a really quite room because of our adult autistic daughter. She was so confident in saying she had the best room for us. The first night was fantastic she put us at the end of the hall on the top floor. The second night I’m not sure what happened because the same desk people were there. They put about 20 teenagers in the room across from us?! Why?! The coming and going we watched out of the peephole! It was beyond ridiculous! I couldn’t believe it! I was going to call the desk, but the amount of teenagers in and out, in and out, leaning up against OUR door! Outside the room?! I thought there would be retaliation! Why would they do this? My husband, daughter and myself did not leave the room the rest of night, we were so scared. I just don’t understand why they put them directly across from us?!

Freddie and Mary at the front desk were very friendly. 2 Queen room with sleeper sofa was spacious worth the extra money. Bathroom has 1 sink but was clean. Beds are comfy, however there was one hair on 1 of the beds. The restaurant had good burgers. The bartender,Linda was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great service all around. Only complaint is the restaurant doesn’t open until 7:00 am. No free breakfast. Overall this was a clean and comfortable hotel. Also great location. Would stay again

There were cars out at all hours of the night blaring loud music, the hotel staff was not able to do anything to quiet them, there are also no curtains on the windows, so bright light filled the room very early. Some of the worst sleep I have had in weeks.. To add to the reply, the roller shade was installed but barely kept any light out, to my knowledge the front desk did nothing about the noise in the parking lot of the holiday inn, the bathroom was also in bad condition upon walking in, dirty shower curtain, dust on the sink. In my opinion you are not making any effort to improve people’s experience, you are just very diligent about apologizing for the poor state of the hotel after the fact. I will choose another hotel to stay at on my next trip to Toledo.

Amazing place to stay, Mary,Freddy,Kenny and the rest of the hotel staff are the best. Saba's Bistro is thee best. The bacon cheddar cheese burger is by far my most favorite anywhere across the country. Thank you all for being so kind and friendly. Your like my second home. Look forward to traveling this way.

This is not a newer Hampton, but it was a pretty nice stay for two nights. The room is a bit small compared to newer hotel construction. The "closet" (see my pic) was a narrow space behind a curtain, but there was also metal rack-type drawers in a ca
