Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (907)
Great hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, walking distance to shops and restaurants and a large park. The shuttle service is very convenient and took us to the racetrack and Saratoga Spa Park. Drivers were very friendly, especially Roger, who gave us a great restaurant suggestion for dinner.
This is a very clean & comfortable hotel. All employees are very warm & welcoming. Great location, great amenities. shuttle is a bonus for getting to & from racetrack & casino. Easy walk to downtown. We stayed in King suite which was very roomy.
Couldn't be happier here! Beautiful hotel within walking distance to just about everything . Super clean rooms with great service. The front desk was very helpful and nice, and the bar/restaurant was great. Oh, and the pool was great too. Can't wait to go back!
Very clean and dog friendly hotel with restaurant and bar on location. EV chargepoint across the street. Staff are professional and friendly. We stayed in a king suite on the 4th floor which had jacuzzi bathtub and separate full shower. A.C. was great. Restaurant and Bar hours were exceptionally good.
We were a family of three in a room with two double beds. We needed a bathroom with a tub shower and got that plus a good grab bar in the tub for safety much appreciated all hotel rooms would be wise to have them reduce their own liability. I was surprised breakfast was not included would have been nice as we had to get to a graveside ceremony early the next day. We had to find a place to eat fast and we did. It is a lovely hotel very clean nice people at the desk and right by the Saratoga Springs park we had bad weather so could not go for a walk but it is a lovely setting . We had been there before for a wedding in that park it was beautiful they were lucky with the weather that day. The hotel is on the edge of town convenient as you can leave your car and walk into the charming town of Saratoga Springs with restaurants shops but kind of hard to park so great location if walking a bit is not a problem . We would only book there if possible when visiting Saratoga Springs.
It's a great location for museums and shopping, racing etc. However, the hotel needs a renovation, the carpets especially. I liked the fact that they have a shuttle service , but I found the older shuttle driver to be very rude. The younger shuttle driver was friendly and professional. There is also "free breakfast " that you can add to your stay, but be warned. No matter how many people stay in the room, the breakfast ticket is only for 1 person per day.
Hotel good location. Had to be the worst breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The eggs were so disgusting and had to pay 18.00 for it. Anyone staying here don't pay for the breakfast walk into town or something. We went to Dunkin the next day which was way better. The bathroom door would close. Then we had our team get together outside which we called a few days before and was told we could do that. The night manager came out and was very rude to us saying we couldn't do that. We all we paying hotel guests at the hotel. The kids were out there maybe 30min and left. We were buying drinks from the bar and we cleaned up all the garbage and gave the left over pizza to the hotel staff. Night manager could have taken a different approach instead of the way he acted.
Have been coming to Saratoga for about 25 years , for about the first 15, I always stayed at this Holiday inn. Recently with the influx of newer hotels in the area I changed. For a last minute weekend I returned to the Holiday Inn.
Some nice features were the indoor and outdoor pools. Dining area, free parking, wi- fi and its proxmiity to Congress Park (the rear steps to the park are a beautiful grand entrance way for photo taking, as well as the entire park)
The halls are a bit musty smelling most likely form the pool and the hot humid weather.
As for the dining area - the breakfast is nice but best to order as part of your room package - the $25 per person fee is not worth it. The omlet area was well staffed and was the entire dining area.
Did not engage in the dinner as going out into the downtown area has many more choices (try Dizzy's chicken near the CVS)
Stayed in Room 318 - some things to mention to the hotel - check the little things in each room - room 318 had a annoying running toilet, the shower rod bar was loose causing some of the shower water to flood the bathroom, also the shower head was difficult to turn. The rugs and chair need a bit of steam cleaning.
Loved the soap and shampoos, in the dispensers (Dove brand) made it easier to shower.
Great work by Sherry - staff at the hotel - was able to solve our issues with style and grace.

We had our daughterâs wedding at Anneâs Washington Inn in early September. We chose to work with Madeleine during the planning and she could not have been more helpful and considerate. During a beastly hot, humid week with unpredictable downpours
