Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Panama City Beach - 11127 Front Beach Rd, USA

Absolutely loved staying here!!! Rooms were great and the bunk beds are a great touch with kids!! Breakfast was really good but the food HUT was SO GOOD! We had the pizza (among other things) 2 nights in a row because it was so good! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Pools were so nice and very clean! Love that they have life music and play movies on the big screen at night for the kids. Just steps away from the beach!! Can’t wait to go back:)

Great resort location and amenities.. The food is great(mushroom dumpling are my favorite). The beach access is wonderful, you can hop in the pool or lazy river hop out and be right on the beach. The views from the rooms are absolutely beautiful (best views are middle rooms and rooms to your left have the best sunsets). Great resort .

Just an update. My husband spoke to Ms Carol, the director of reservations after our initial hotel review. The hotel gave us a call to understand our experience and we were quite pleased with the professionalism, empathy, and kindness she displayed. We decided it was the right thing to revisit our comment to reflect the totality of our experience. Thank you again Carol for your time and listening ear! We felt heard, understood and appreciated as customers!

Great resort. Rooms are great, nice and clean. All the extras. Showers are wonderful. My only small complaint is the temperature in the elevators. Very warm! Obviously they do this since many are coming and going from the beach and/or pool, but riding in a full car up to top floors can get sweaty. The breakfast buffet is really good, lots of selections. Overall it's a great place to stay.

Stayed here for a week. Good vibes all around. Very happy -Staff were all smiles. Facilitated storage of our large paddling equipment. Got my rental car stuck in the sand, staff pulled me out. Great folks. -Breakfast buffet was worth it every day. - pool and lazy River were clean and enjoyable. - beach is wide, shallow, and beautiful. Rivals anywhere I’ve been with water. - beds were comfortable with quality pillows. We will stay here again.

Gotta share how much we loved Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach!||This resort is our absolute fave. It’s super kid-friendly and it has everything! Each room faces the ocean and overlooks the pools (giant pool, lazy river, kid pool, hot tub, and splash pad).||Entertainment everyday and night with live music, concerts, poolside movies. They have a game room with pool table & and ping pong tables. Plus they also have kid-friendly activities like crafts and games. ||There’s a market on site that has everything including beach toys, snacks, and basics. Spa available if you need to surprise your husband after he’s driven countless hours. ||Restaurants & Bar are on site, which can be pretty expensive but kids eat free. They just added in an ice cream shop! We only leave for breakfast to go to our favorite local cafe! ||Everything is right on the beach and you can go back and forth from the pool and the beach. They have umbrellas and chairs to rent if that’s your thing.||Rooms are super spacious with a full size fridge with an ice maker! You can even watch the night entertainment from your balcony! ||Last thing: staff is all incredibly helpful and friendly. We always feel incredibly taken care of while we’re here!

Made a reservation last minute for my family and me to spend a 2 night weekend stay here. We booked through Reservation Desk. I asked specifically if my rate included the breakfast and was told yes. However, upon checking in, I was told it didn't. I explained to them my previous conversation, however, I was told I was basically out of luck. When I called the Reservation Desk to get an explanation they said they needed to listen to the recording to prove this happened. So we had to pay for breakfast ($50 per person). The hotel wouldn't help me out. The booking agency, even after the recording proved I was correct, have failed to reimburse me, even said I should reach out to the hotel for help, but no luck there. So I was screwed out of $300. Perhaps the hotel shouldn't deal with such a shady booking agency if they want to keep returning customers.

Our family has stayed at the resort multiple times. However this last trip was horrible. I completely understand the wristband policy and have no problem following it. However, we met up with some friends that live in the area out on the beach, they had little children with them and inevitably one of them had to use the restroom. My wife offered to take her and their 5 year old little girl up to our room so she could go number 2. The hotel security wouldn’t allow them to pass and use the restroom. They had to basically sprint across the street and use the Waffle House restroom before she pooped her pants. It was ridiculous and embarrassing for us as guests and hotel management couldn’t have cared less or even be bothered to give us the time of day other than to state that it’s policy. ||Other than that the pool was overly dirty, the food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced and under value and the card readers on the door only work about half the time. There are far better hotels on Panama City Beach. Trust me, go elsewhere this hotel is more of a “only if you have no other option.”
