Holiday Inn Resort Fort Walton Beach, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Fort Walton Beach - 1299 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, USA

Spend there both Christmas and New years with my family and had a wonderful time. The food is delicious, the staff is kind and helpful. The only thing is that you need to let front desk now if you want housekeeping to clean your room every day, otherwise you'll be back to a messy room. Our room had a great view of both the pool and the beach. The room have a balcony so it's great for morning coffee while watching the view. Also, we saw dolphins! The location is great, you have plenty of things to do around, everyrhing is short drive distance.

Returned again. When we are in the area we enjoy staying here. Love the location. Love the pool. Love the food. Staff is friendly on the most part. Had issues this time around checking in, staff mistakly charged me twice, and took over 40 minutes to check in. There was issue with room location and bathtub was full of sand and tub would not hold water in. Plug broken. But still enjoyable .

I had my family reunion at this hotel. We had an amazing time. The food was excellent as well as the hospitality. The coordinator did an awesome job helping with the planning and the coordinating of our event. The location of the hotel is the best , also the amenities. Will definantly book again

The cook was terrible his attitude was horrible when the waitress asked him if he could fix it we could literally hear him throwing a fit in the Back cooking area was so much profanity it was very unprofessional I guess because it was 20 minutes till closing and we have small children that had to hear that and the little girl that was waiting on us she kept trying to apologize and it wasn't her fault and I feel sorry for her the and the whole staff that to have to work with a violent disrespectful person. But other than that the rooms were great and the rest of the staff was awesome we stay here every year and would like to continue but I don't know if we want to have to put our children through that again just to grab dinner

We were greeted warmly when we checked in early and a room was ready for us. The view from the room was fantastic. The waves were pounding! The room itself was very dated but clean. Definitely could use an update. We stayed just the one night and due to the weather couldn’t use the outside pool. Picked this hotel because it had a heated indoor pool but unfortunately no deep end. So didn’t use that either. The entire staff that we came in contact with was super friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Amazing staff and calm, peaceful atmosphere. Location and view from my beachfront room were perfection! Hotel is in the process of getting a much needed facelift. Once the rooms are updated this hotel will be a winner in every way! Huge parking lot is a big plus during tourist season. Numerous restaurants & shops within walking distance. Perfect location is close to both Destin and Ft. Walton Beach.

My family stayed in rooms 410 and 412. The beach views from our balconies were beautiful. The rooms did not connect (as hoped for), but were side by side. The rooms were clean. Breakfast had anything you could want. Dinner was great. The staff were all very nice.

My main issue was with the room I stayed in for two weeks. I wanted to leave the first day! The room smelled like mildew, the tub was dirty and clogged, there was dirt marks and rust in some places. It was just not a good space at all! The cleaning services were terrible as well. I had the same dirt everywhere and some times they would just give me a stack of towels on my sink. Some of them would be dirty as well! Really nasty place but I guess I can only expect so much but the view was great. Customer service wasn’t bad either they were pretty nice and talkative! Loud people as well banging and being loud all night.
