The hotel seems to be in the middle of renovations. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is clean. The hallways seem to have new carpet. But the rooms are old. The carpet makes the room smell a little like wet dog. The room has two parts, a little living room and then the bedroom. The bedroom smelt fine. It was the just the living room that smelt a little off. But the room was very clean. The bathroom also could use some updates but again, it was clean. I wouldn’t mind staying here again. The AC was nice and cold which is important when visiting Florida near the summer times. The bed and sheets may have been new. And they were soooo comfortable. I was very surprised at how comfortable the bed was and how nice the sheets were. The windows aren’t sound proof so you can hear a lot of the outside traffic, which may bother light sleepers.

Do not let the pool lure you to stay here…it’s a distraction to the nightmare you are about to endure. Unfortunately we are stuck here for 7 nights. We ended up with 4 room changes and the current room is barely better. We arrived very late and just wanted to get to bed after air travel all day. The 1st room was horrible! The bed was wet from moisture, my feet turned black from the carpet, the carpet was wet, the door was falling apart on the inside from moisture and the smell of mold was enough to make you vomit. We made it 30 minutes in that room. I went and spoke with the manager on duty and we were moved. The next room was worse, if you can get any worse. We were then given multiple rooms to go see to pick from….we found 1 which did not meet our bed need of two beds. My travel partner slept on the floor. The next morning we were moved to a renovated room. The door is yet again falling apart, but at least the carpet was ripped out. This is the worst IHG hotel I have ever stayed in. A red roof inn or super 8 would be a huge improvement from this hotel. I do not understand how this hotel can be associated with IHG. Unfortunately we are fully paid for our week so just getting up and going to a new hotel is not possible until the bank opens after the holiday weekend. Again, do NOT stay here if you value your health and if you typically stay at IHG for the niceness, freshness and amenities. Whoever this owner is should be ashamed of themselves as a business owner and IHG better disassociate themselves with this particular hotel before people stop staying with the IHG brand. The health department should also shut this place down for the filth of the rooms.

This is the only property in the area that would accept my dogs, so 5 stars for that. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. And A/C works well. There is the usual refrigerator and Keurig in the room. I requested a microwave and it was there when i arrived. The room itself is shabby and in need of updating. Everything works but looks tired and worn. Being a pet friendly room, I was surprised to find carpet. The sitting area has a love seat and 2nd TV and is sectioned off with a door which allows privacy if there are two people and one wants to watch TV while the other rests or wants to watch the other TV in bed. The pool is lovely, but the fitness center is closed for renovation. Staff are accommodating and helpful. I requested a late check out and had no issue with that. There is a large area to walk dogs behind the property and a kiosk with bags to clean up after them.

Rough, to be put as nicely as possible. $100 a night is still too expensive for what you get. Walked onto the 4th floor and was BLASTED with mold smell. The room was much worse. Luckily we were moved to a half renovated room, still very lack luster. Will not stay again. Best of luck on renovations. Desperatley needed.

Disappointed with check in. Arrived at 15.55 to be advised our room was not ready and told we would receive a phone call when it was. After 45 minutes, no phone call. Went back to reception to remind the man we were waiting for our room... after checking the system, it wasn't but after making a phone call...it suddenly was. Acknowledgement was given to my Silver Membership but nothing about the fact we were on our honeymoon and I had mentioned this on my booking. We were given a room with 2 small double beds very close to the lifts (very noisy) and a very noisy ice dispenser in the lift foyer! Staff seem very disinterested in guest comfort. The best thing about this hotel is the very small restaurant 50 yards from the pool. Florida Food Life. Absolutely stunning food.

The beds felt damp, and the carpet was wet. Upon check-in, we found the rooms were not cleaned, with unmade beds and a leftover pizza box. The wifi is also very slow. The only channel that is good was the race car one. One good channel out of 50 channels is quite ridiculous. The toilet also didn't flush. The pool however, was refreshing.

I won't stay at this hotel any more the service was suck their elevators took long cause only one side was working. When we got our room it smelled like smoke so then I told them that I can't stay in this room cause it smells like cigarettes smoke so they switched me to another room. When we got in the room we checked the beds one of the blankets on the bed was yellowish so we took it down to the front office to let then know and if some one can bring another back to the room they never did till the next day I had to let them know again that we didn't get the blanket and we request for more towels and rags it took them a long time to give us what we needed. I would never recommend this hotel to any one
