The staff are great. Front Desk staff is always very welcoming and obviously a great assets to the team. The Bartenders are great hosts and make you feel at home when you sit down to relax to have dinner. I've stayed here many times and have been very satisfied.

My husband and I flew in on a red eye and the staff was gracious enough to allow us an early check in. The rooms were nice and spaceous. Not to mention that the whole place was decorated for Christmas. Very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Francisco helped us with pretty much everything. We ate at the morning Cafe and then dined in the evening at the bar area. Ambience was great and the staff at the bar and diner were super accommodating. We had a great experience and when we come back to NY we will stay here again. Thank you Holiday Inn staff for a good time. 😊

I travel a lot for work and have stayed in nice places and really bad ones, but based on the previous negative reviews you would expect it to be bad but after staying here you quickly learn it isn't true. The rooms were nice/clean to sleep and rest, quiet enough to do some work and the fitness room was also good with free weights. Lastly, the hospitality from the restaurant staff to the hotel Manager (Francisco) was phenomenal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to rest in a nice bed and quiet room. The staff really makes the difference.

We have historically been big fans of this place sadly, no longer. However, will stay nearby and come enjoy the bar & restaurant services and superior staff. To be clear bar & restaurant service 5 ⭐️. Be cautious with menu offerings now, dishes that once were good, are not. They do still have room service on Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Our room didn’t have a microwave which we discovered when attempting to heat coffee from a pot we purchased from the restaurant. Ms. Lydia explained that our room had insufficient power to handle a microwave (same $$ as a room that can), but we were welcome to walk 300 or so yards to a “community” microwave if we wanted to heat our coffee. We were given room 101, a corner room off the main lobby near two exit doors. This is a busy and very noisy location as doors loudly open and close throughout the night. We travel often and are “elite” members. When we inquired to use the late check out perk, Ms. Lydia responded we failed to read the fine print. She said it was only if available and it wasn’t available because they were short on housekeepers and supposedly were “sold out” . We had been there four days and knew very well they weren’t sold out. We made the decision to speak with the manager, Patrick who kindly explained to us what his employees did wrong. Too many other options to pay full fare for not even the basics. Best to Mike, Ethan & Jose! You’re lovely! Be well, stay awesome

I have stayed at this hotel probably more than a lot of other folks. The staff is always friendly and helpful. As with most places you want simplicity and ease of use. A hotel not having hot water is a challenge and there should be back up plan besides simply calling it in when it happens. Be proactive!

The was clean but had a musty smell. When I got back to my room from being out it stank of pot in the room and hallway. |Then on my last night the fire alarm went off and took over an 1.5 hr to get it reset. Lost my whole nights sleep complained to customer service at the hotel and could care less to date no one from the hotel has contacted me. Won’t be back !!|Horrible customer service.

The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and the little interaction I had with the staff was pleasant, each of them seemed very nice, including the attached restaurant inside which had very good food at decent prices. The room, however, wasn't as great. I was on the second floor, and overall the room was adequate. BUT... The carpets in the hallway smelled extremely musty, and the elevator was extra strong. Like they never wash or replace them, just vacuum and spray, because you do smell that air freshener smell, but it doesn't cover it up. Overall it was outdated and needed a few superficial repairs. The sink was backed up/the stopper was tight, it took a long time to drain. There were a few cracks in the tiles. The smoke alarm went off once in the middle of the night. And once I had to call the front desk for a beeping that was outside of my room, and a neighboring room blasting music late at night. The TV would fuzz up every few seconds, and the wifi was a little slow. But I'd say the worst feature is the metal doors each room has, which were being slammed constantly 24/7. There is no way to quietly shut them and most ppl would just let them go not being considerate of others. So it was non-stop banging of doors, and when housekeeping was going on for hours each day, it sounded like they wouldn't prop open each door when working, bc it was constant slamming going down the entire hall, it was beyond irritating and sometimes made you jump.

Nice, clean place. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The cleaning person didn't come til later in the afternoon/ early evening. Other than that, I have no complaints. Also, there's nothing to do in the immediate area within walking distance, if that's a concern. I didn't mind, though.

We stayed here for my little brother's wedding. They got married at a different place but used this as the hotel for everyone to stay at. Right from walking into the hotel I knew it was going to be a good stay. We were greeted with hot, tasty apple c
