We stayed here 2 nights because we had no power, heat or water for days after a bad storm. Initially looked clean but upon further inspection not so much. Initially booked 2 adjoining rooms but the one smelled of mold and there was hair in the shower as if it wasn’t cleaned.
The other room I saw 2 cockroaches and what looked like tiny blood splatter on wall and ceiling in the bathroom. I will let you use your imagination what that could be from. I was there to work and for my family to stay comfortably but I can tell you I did not feel comfortable staying there myself or with my kids with the clientele lurking around. I will not stay at this hotel again. It’s a shame because it could be a really nice hotel if it was taken care of and didn’t allow the clientele that was there.
We are a travel hockey family so stay in hotels regularly and this has to be one of the worst hotels we have stayed in yet.
I absolutely LOVE the pillows provided, I actually want to buy myself some for home. Bed was super comfy and I got a good night's rest. I hate that hotels use white washcloths. The bathroom needs to be upgraded with the taller toilets. I spilled something on the bathroom floor and used a towel to get it up, the towel was black so that means the floor hasn't been mopped in awhile. It would be nice to have a hook near the shower to hang a toiletry bag. Also folks traveling with dogs I feel should be on the first floor. This location could definitely use some upgrades on the rooms and definitely the elevator. The breakfast was awesome! I would stay here again.
Positive: It was conveniently located near my work. Nice and quiet so I could work and sleep. There is a nice large bar in the atrium. Room is reasonably clean and there are Dove branded toiletries. Negative: I did not get the room I paid for. I booked a single king room and what I got was a handicapped room with 2 double beds. The doors also seem like they don't lock well so as a female traveling alone it's a bit unnerving. Elevators are slow and creaky.
The (music) from the banquet rooms was a bit to loud. It interfered with to conversation with staff while checking in. I suggest the doors stay shut while a event is taking place. Also, there were a lot of kids Friday night (when I checked in) running thru/around the lobby and hallways. No supervision in sight. I brought this to the front desk attention and advised I would have to move to a higher floor if the noise did not stop soon. I suggested the front desk find who was in charge and address the matter. As far as the room, I had a TV remote that would not change channels, so the front desk replaced the remote. The bathroom fan was not working. Also the cleaning staff could do a better job cleaning the window ledge and dust around the A/C unit. I found a pair of sock from a previous guest behind the chair. Lastly, I was not granted the 500 points for the IHG Caring for the Environment door card if you forgo housekeeping during my two day visit and hang card outside room door.
Convenient to my work location. Elevators need some attention. Doors slammed open and shut! Older hotel but clean. Comfortable bed. Heat/AC worked great.
So the hotel itself was beautiful but, the heat was ridiculous. The inside of the hotel had to be 95 or more. The only cool places were the event spaces and the actual rooms. Besides the temperature everything else was great. The hospitality was also top tier as well as the decor.
The room was clean. The gym was more than adequate. I didn’t go in the pool but several folks were enjoying it. The breakfast was much better than the average “continental” mess. But most of all, the service was just so good that I felt at home. I Guess their rate was cheaper because of the age of the building? But it had no effect on the room or my stay in general.
I stayed here for a wedding. It was a bit expensive, however definitely updated. The breakfast was included in the wedding block pricing- otherwise not worth the price they charge. It’s definitely a very nice venue, the staff is kind, thoughtful, and definitely work hard!

First time I came here was during a class field trip in spring. Second time I came with a friend and hiked the 2ish miles of trails. Fun time learning about the preserve's history. Lots of cool native plants and trees I was unfamiliar with. There are

Excellent food, location, atmosphere and above excellent staff. First time there and I was impressed and will be going back. The tomato sauce was the best I've had in a very long time. It's a BYOB restaurant, so bring your best Italian wine and enjoy
