Holiday Inn Manitowoc, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Manitowoc - 4601 Calumet Ave, USA

This was a very nice hotel. Lobby was really neat. Beds were comfy. However, there was a noise from something all night. It wasn't our air conditioner, but maybe the hotels main units? It did wake us up a couple of times. Anyway, hotel and staff were great. Would stay here again.

This hotel had all we wanted and more. We asked for a quieter room and that’s exactly what we had. Although some of the styling is older, the construction meant thicker walls with good soundproofing. We were shocked when we went out the room door in the morning to find the rooms next to and around us were occupied! We also appreciated the size of the room, the spacious bathroom counter, and the full length well-placed closet. Our bed was comfortable with side tables on each side. Breakfast was much more extensive than we expected and frequently re-supplied.

Room large, clean, very comfortable! Beds great, pillows soft or firm. Very pretty. Excellent lighting. Yep, wouldn't hesitate to stay again! Nice, quiet location. Enjoyed the stay. Negatives: Bathroom fan rumbled, ONLY made a LOT of noise, useless. If your elderly, better be able to do squats, so you can get off the commode. Shower amenities IN the shower would be great. Why not invest in a HANDHELD shower head, too??!!

We stayed here for one night. The room was nice and very clean. The only problem was the air conditioning didn't work well and it was too warm in the room. The staff was very nice and helpful. We went to the restaurant to get a bite to eat and took forever for the food to come and it was not good. The bartender served us and was very helpful and friendly but it was the cook who was very slow and made terrible food. I really wish we would have chosen a different restaurant. We had breakfast there on the next day and it was good. Overall we had a good stay except for the dinner at the restaurant. The staff was great.

Have never had this experience so needed to share - was told by front desk staff this morning that they did not have enough towels for all the guests they have booked and so we could not get more towels for our room! We booked a King Suite (over $200/night for the weekend) as we are here for a Softball tournament, and only have 3 towels for our family. Have to go to Walmart and buy some towels to shower here! 🤦‍♀️ Our suite doesn’t have a window to the outside either - only windows to the interior atrium of the hotel and only in the bedroom. So in the living room area you feel like you’re enclosed in a box. Just feels uncomfortable not being able to see outside. This is an older property and there are repairs needed in the rooms, especially the bathroom where the fan doesn’t do its job and wallpaper is peeling off the walls and it’s still humid in there the next morning. The bed in our room is extremely firm. Could not get a good night sleep. Would not recommend staying here unless you have no other option. There are nicer hotels these days for these prices.

I came here after not wanting to be at another hotel nearby. This was a breath of fresh air. Great customer service, room smelled like it was just clean. Slept like a rock which I needed, bed & pillows comfortable. Quiet.

Starting with my reservation I had great customer service! The gentleman that took care of me was wonderful. When I checked in he remembered I wanted a room with a window, some face the atrium, which I did not want. I received a coupon for a free breakfast buffet for the next morning, which was surprisingly pretty good! They have a little chapel which I love to stop into. Rooms clean. Bartender personable and friendly. Great experience! Will be back in a couple weeks!

Courteous and thorough front desk staff. Clean, comfortable room. Complimentary breakfast buffet — many selections. Limited parking on-site. Complimentary newspaper. Restaurants on site. Thin walls — could hear alarm clock sounding from neighboring room.
