Holiday Inn Gaithersburg, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Gaithersburg - Two Montgomery Village Ave, USA

We needed a hotel around this area and were pleasantly surprised it was as nice as it was for the location. The room appeared very clean. The lighting in the room was good. Great black out curtain. Nothing smelled like smoke or pot. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly. We will be staying here next time we are in the area for sure.

Arrival was very hospitable but service was lacking during stay. Breakfast was an additional cost per night. Was told breakfast was between 6-10, first night they didn’t open till 7. Shower water doesn’t get hot, maybe luke-warm at best. For dinner the bartender was also the front desk attendant and so I couldn’t order anything regularly. Not enough personal.

This location is awesome. You have everything you may need close to you; The staff were very professional, polite and helpful; even housekeeping team were very kind and efficient, rooms are very well equipped, organized and clean. Will definitely come back

Everyone has been very friendly. And the rooms are in good shape. The location ain’t bad either. Right next to the highway and next to a chick fil a. I would definitely stay again. But the only thing that might keep me from staying here is a Tesla destination charger. I mean I think every hotel should have a few chargers installed. I know the hotels next to us have them.

Great location and great value for the money. Good gym, good breakfast, a little too quite for dinner. I purchased a burger for dinner and it came out burned. Other than that it was a very good stay and much cheaper than expected.

The best thing about this place is the service. I loved every interaction I had with an employee at this hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms aren't all updated and one room I was put in smelled moldy and the paint was peeling from the tub. However, the staff helped me get a room that was perfect. I loved my stay, the amenities, and the location of the hotel. I would be happy to stay here again.

It’s a great place to relax and retreat. The vibes here are great. The people are friendly. The facilities maybe are being used for a long time, for example the remote control for the TV, the door keys are not so sensitive, needs more effort to get to there…and the wall is not soundproof…anyway it didn’t bother me when I was staying in my room.

So . . . the hotel agent that checked me in (Iris?) was super friendly and should be working at a nicer property that matches her customer service skills. The room itself was fine, but the deal breaker - absolutely no soap. At all. No tiny bar of soap. And both bottles of soap (body wash) were totally empty. When I complained at check-out, she said I should have called to let them know. Huh? I didn't realize it until I was in the shower and saw that there was no body wash. Totally empty. Sorry. My bad? Shouldn't these be filled routinely? Why do I tell them??? Update: I reached out to the general manager in an attempt to "make it right" as he states, but he has not returned my email.
