Holiday Inn Express Stuart, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Stuart - 7900 SW Lost River Rd, USA

I had a chance to use some reward points and booked one night here. I worried that using points might somehow deliver a less than acceptable room but I was wrong. This property is well maintained both inside and outside. The room condition; bed, bath, and furnishings were all in great shape. Early morning coffee was just coming out in the lobby and it was delicious. My early checkout was before breakfast started so no chance to review . This is an excellent location to Stuart and the nearby beaches and attractions. Recommended!

Please read the reviews before you book a stay. Unfortunately, I didn't. Every negative comment you read in the reviews is true, and I can add more. When we checked in for our two-night stay, the first thing I did after entering our room was to switch on the reading light hanging near a comfortable chair. The light did not work. The desk clerk came in to replace the light bulb only to find that the reading light had never been wired for use. The in-room coffee maker did not work, so I went back to the lobby for coffee which, of course, was cold. I took the coffee to the room to heat it in the microwave. I opened the door and began to set the cup on the glass plate when I realized that the microwave had already begun working before I closed the door. Yikes! The ice machine in the hallway worked fine, but the tray covering the drain was missing.|One of the positives of the room was that it was quiet. The night clerk, who was very nice and patient with us, had assured us that it would be quiet. Unfortunately for the hotel, it appeared that her replacement was being trained the next day.|We expect more of Holiday Inn Express and don't know why this Stuart location has been allowed to continue to operate. Reviews have been negative for years.

Positive: The bed was comfortable & the pillows were extra soft. The shower pressure was strong & our 1:30 am check-in went through smoothly. Very friendly & upbeat staff. Negative: Breakfast was bland, but the room was fantastic.

Absolutely my favorite hotel to use when family and friends come to visit us in Stuart. Clean comfortable rooms. Nice complimentary breakfast. Clean pool. You can’t beat it. Thank you for everything!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the Manager Henry is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. He pounded on my door at 9am when I had the do not disturb sign on as my baby was sleeping just so I would pick up the bag of trash outside since they did not take trash in this hotel apparently. All of the trash cans are full, all of the bathrooms are out of toilet paper, all of the vending machines are out of options. Nothing is clean. DO NOT STAY HERE

Checked in after midnight. Instead of a sleepy night clerk, the person at the desk was wide awake, professional, and helpful. Room was clean and hot water was hot. Everyone was nice, even the landscaping crew letting me know they were going to run leaf blowers when they saw me outside talking on the phone. Parking well lit.

This is a sweet, clean, hotel in a good location with a breakfast of pancakes, muffins, sweet rolls, eggs, biscuits, gravy, fruit, yogurt, a variety of juices and coffee. The hotel looks newly renovated with clean, new carpet and I love the Dove products to use. Love the tub. If you want one with a shower only, you can request the HC room. The staff were pleasant and polite. I would definitely stay here again. The location is awesome easy on & off from the Interstate. I did request an even room (away from the highway) and it was very quiet. They even have a pool. Plus, there is a gas station, McDonalds and Wendy's right at the exit. The Wendy's is walking distance one block maybe.

I actually enjoyed the stay very much except for one thing. My door lock would not respond to my key. Replaced the key several times to no avail. Set me up in a new room if I wanted to move my stuff. However, the door decided to accept the key that time so I decided to stay. However, the door lock was never fixed for my 2 night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful except for that.
