Holiday Inn Express Southington, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Southington - Exit 32, 120 Laning St I-84, USA

I work in the travel industry and have stayed a many hotels in and out of this country. I have never had staff make me feel so uncomfortable. The hotel manager a woman was extremely unprofessional and rude. I booked two rooms and she made our stay so unenjoyable and uncomfortable. I will Never return. I have never been treated in such a manner and the other guests that were there that weekend had the same experience of her. The rooms were clean but the breakfast took forever to be replenished and it wasn't great. Overall when you work in hospitality the idea is to be hospitable and she was anything but. If you want to have a relaxing experience this may not be the place for you. Instead of having a relaxing staycation for my daughter's bday. I was on edge the entire time because of how I was treated. I would not recommend this hotel there are more in the area within the same price with great breakfast and friendly staff.

The room was clean and comfortable. Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning. The staff were friendly and helpful with any needs. Thank you for a great stay!

Older property that is average to slightly below in maintenance, outer door at rear of hotel doesn’t latch automatically, it must be given a hard pull therefore it’s ajar most of the time, coffeemaker in room didn’t work, and was not replaced after being reported to the front desk. No ice machine on 2nd floor that I could find. Electric outlets would connect for a moment then stop working making it impossible to charge our devices. None of the usb outlets worked. Bathroom door scraped the floor making it hard to open past 1/2 way. Other than that it was OK

The front desk was friendly and courteous. I wanted to give a special recognition to Stuart, who offered stellar service even at 2:00 a.m. when I initially checked in. I stayed in a standard king room for four nights. Housekeeping did a good job tidying the room daily.

I am disabled, every effort was made to accommodate my needs. Rooms were clean, and quiet, with well cared for common areas, decent hot breakfast, attentive, courteous staff. Convenient, just off the highway but no highway noise. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean, great breakfast. Me and my husband was up there for my college graduate from Post University, we enjoyed y'all self visit the West Farm Mall they mall is biggest the mall I'm from. We enjoyed the food to especially JD's Pizzeria Bar & Grill the pizza was amazing and the shrimp, potato skins.

Very comfortable and clean. However, in the morning the cleaning lady needs to stop speaking in a loud voice to her friends on speaker phone since some of us are there for a few days and trying to sleep in the morning. That was so inconsiderate.

Easy access from freeway. Rooms were very clean, staff were all very friendly, breakfast was good. Highly recommend.
