I stayed here recently and I was very comfortable. My husband has stayed here as well. We have both found the hotel to be reasonable and close to various amenities. Plus the staff have been helpful. Shout out to the ladies preparing breakfast every morning. They are always friendly and do a phenomenal job. Keep up the great work.
Did not expect a hotel like this to be on base property ! My room had a kitchenette, but had no cookware dinnerware, or silverware in room. What I could get, had to be asked for. Also, upon first entry, discovered the foldout sofa partially opened, the sheets on it messed up, and the coffee table rearranged. I wonder why it was like that ? I brought it to the front desk's attention, and they fixed up the sofa and living room within 20 minutes. Otherwise, had a good stay.
My family and I stay here fairly often, we love the base ( my dad and grandpa were both stationed here) we love coming to visit, you do need a military ID, or be with someone who dose, active duty or retired 💙 the base is wonderful the hotel is wonderful.... if you stay with young kids I definitely recommend you check out the children's museum, and the splash park next to it. Hotel is oet friendly, I believe there's a single charge per stay per room, for non service animals ... definitely recommend... it is a few blocks from the commissary and BX/PX so fairly convenient. .. also pretty good breakfast each morning my daughter loves it .
Zahira and Abby at the main desk made my review 5-stars by working extra to help me when I arrived earlier then scheduled. They quickly made me comfortable in the lobby and then without asking went out of their way to spend time figuring out how to get me into a room vice staying in the lobby for hours. ...and they did it! I was so happy because I was on a business trip from out of state. Being able to be in a room vice the lobby really helped me get to work on what I so needed to do there. I'm so grateful to them! This made me feel that the staff at this hotel really >cares< about their guests! The hotel itself is what I've come to happily expect from Holiday Inn, which is my preferred hotel over all others.
Honestly, great experience; updated appliances, and fixtures, very clean, friendly service… the internet was terrible… the only real critique I have is that this is a military hotel: probably expect a majority of your patrons to be traveling on orders. I made an assumption, but neither did they ask—sure enough, after after getting my receipt, it was full of taxes. It’s just a pain to have that removed after you’ve been charged. Very inconvenient and could have easily been resolved had they asked to see my orders.
The layout of the hotel is very nice. Staff is pleasant. Location and the quiet atmosphere is greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay there again for future visits to the area.
The rooms are outdated and small, there's no elevator for the second floor, and breakfast is free but bad. The only redeeming thing about it is its location. It's central to the PX and commissary.
My two weeks stay here was enjoyable. I was in bldg 2111. The beds were comfortable, room was very clean, shower was hot, room thermostat was easy to control, great customer service overall. I utilized their business center with the computer and free printing. There was also a small fitness room with exercise equipments. Washer and dryer were free, which is pretty awesome, just need to get your own detergent. There's also a room with stove and oven if you want to cook your own food, but you'll need to bring your own kitchenware (pot, pan, spatula, oil, etc.). The BX and commissary are essentially next door, so it was easy to get food and essential items. The only thing is that like many other hotels, the walls are thin, so you may hear your neighbors next door. If feasible, you may want to request a room without neighbors.

Probably one of JBLM's best kept secrets. Great park/playground/walking trail and swimming hole, lots of docks made for fishing off of too. You can often see Bald Eagles as well. Base access or a sponsor is required to visit. Little American Lake is
Very nice scenic views around the lake. You can go check in the slide area and rent a boat, or the pavilion across it, or just walk up to the lake shoreline through the conference hall side and play with the ducks or take pictures. Itâs beautiful a
Went with my son to get a pass for a short visit. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We were helped quickly and were in there about 15 minutes. Be sure to have your license, car registration and proof of insurance before you go!
