Holiday Inn Express Port Hueneme, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Port Hueneme - 350 E Port Hueneme Rd, USA

The hotel is situated in an ideal location. The rooms are updated and pleasant. The beds are comfortable and clean, the TV was in a location that suited no matter where you were sitting in the room. The use of space was somewhat interesting and I think the coffee maker should have its own space and not just right next to the TV.

The location is awesome! Very short walking distance to the beach and good restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a great pool area for family time and relaxing. The only drawback of this property is that it is very dated and needs to be upgraded.

We are a Soccer MLS Academy. We normally travel in large groups, requiring Room Blocks of minimim 25-30 Rooms with double occupancy and as many as 3-4 to a room. This Property has experience in acomodating our group travel needs. Even though our teams play one day in Santa Barbara ( approx 45 mins away) the next day is in Ventura ( approx 15 mins) from the Property, the whole process foe Booking Rooms and the General Overall Service is spot on! I recommend this Property for Youth Sports Activities. They understand the needs of the groups of this tyou.

The staff were very personable and professional. The location was perfect for my purposes. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great each and every morning.

Always my go to place to stay. Great service and great rooms. Always feel safe during my stays. Staff very professional and friendly. Breakfast had a good variety and atmosphere in dining room is good.

I would Definately recommend this hotel for anyone who cares about cleanliness and being a within walking distance to the ocean. Breakfast is great and 6 o’clock happy hour is also a plus. It’s very quiet and clean.

We’ve stayed at this location once before and the room was clean and comfortable. This time the room was clean but very old and beat up with an uncomfortable bed and no shower door. As with the first stay, the staff was excellent - friendly and helpful

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite reserving 3 rooms at $170 each through the IHG site, the front desk attempted to charge me $235 per room upon check-in. After a 15-minute call to IHG, the front desk finally honored the reserved rate. When requesting to speak to the manager, a person on speaker phone was unapologetic and insisted on the increased rate or leaving. The lack of customer service and a threatening tone make it hard to recommend this hotel. Staff training in customer service is evidently needed.
