Holiday Inn Express Pendleton, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Pendleton - 600 SE Nye Ave, USA

Unfortunately, our Oregon vacation was marred by our stay at this Holiday Inn. When we checked into our room we found a crusty towel, crusty pair of shorts, and a tampon on the floor, and also crumbs on the floor and chair. The room TV was non-working, much to our kids' disappointment. "Hey, don't fret kids. This hotel also has a pool!" They love to swim. Well, the pool was the worst part. The chemicals were so far off the water instantly burned our eyes and tongues. My 3 year-old was rubbing his eyes and crying for hours afterward. We kept administering eye drops. He was better in the morning. See below picture from a couple hours after the swim. My 5 year-old was also in pain, saying his pee hole burned. This really ticked me off. I hate seeing my kids in pain. The mattresses were quite hard. I could not fall asleep on my side. They had one of those cool automatic pancake machines which my kids wanted to try. It put out raw pancakes. I mentioned the main issues we had (dirty room, broken tv, pool) to the front desk clerk on our way out and she said the manager would be calling me that afternoon. I got no phone call. So, apparently they don't care. I rarely post reviews, but am still sour from the experience and the fact they blew me off was the last straw. I suggest staying elsewhere. There are 4 other hotels right next to this place. The Best Western looked pretty nice.

Was OK. Was very expensive. || Two guests, but only one coffee cup..TV remote didn't work. I think they used the old saying, "he was a stranger, so we took him in." Breakfast was ok...toaster didn't work. All this is understandable, but they the room cost just a bit under 300 for one night.

Thank you Holiday Inn for making my Mother’s Day wish come true! After a horrid experience with the Hampton Inn down the street, I reserved a room here, and the service was excellent! The pool and hot tub were exactly what I needed! The cookies were an added bonus! The rooms are clean, warm and the shower was spectacular. If you are looking at reviews, stay at the Holiday Inn and skip the Hampton. 😊

Honestly, rooms are fine, beds are fine. My only complaint is the tvs. It is 2024 and we are rocking with a hella old tv. TVs are dirt cheap now, can we please get bigger than 32 inch’s and a slow operating system.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The manager is one of the worst customer service representatives I have ever spoken to. We could not make it to Pendleton because of the wildfires, which we have absolutely no control over. When I asked nicely if there was anything she could do, she was rude, passive aggressive, and unbelievably unprofessional. She definitely belongs far away from any customer service job. TERRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great overnight spot for a family. Kids loved the pool. It was a little pricey. Weird that they stash the ladder in the hallway. They skimped on soap in the bathroom because it's locked to the wall, a long way from the sink...

Positive: The location. Negative: I was lied to by the front desk staff a total of three times. Sadly, lying seems to be socially acceptable in today's world. Hotels seem to be increasingly suspicious of guests, yet some (privately owned chain hotels) participate in very shady practices.

Positive: Staff and hotel very clean and lovely. Negative: The bed was horrible. The swimming pool and hot tub were disappointing.
