Positive: It's been newly renovated and it's a win. Clean, better lighting and I liked the added touches of little shelves and extra hooks. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I requested a quiet room away from noise. Breakfast was very good. Hot and fresh. Negative: Deep pools of water in the parking lot during the rain, taking up some spaces. Soaked boots, socks and pants are no fun. This is NOT the fault of the hotel. The entire area has parking lots subject to flooding. Pack Mucks during the rainy season. Negative: ""
Yolanda at the front desk was great! Very hospitable, kind, and courteous. The hotel itself is basically like new. Amazing, spacious, and clean rooms. Location is in the main area of town and in the middle of everything. Highly recommended as the best place to stay when traveling around or in oakdale
Great service. Had to cancel my room the day of my reservation (a day past the cancellation deadline) and they approved the refund. Rare to find businesses so understanding. Will definitely stay here on a future trip to Mammoth or Yosemite..
I went there not to long ago and I noticed the cleaning lady looked drugged out. She looked really lost. And when I walked by she was freaking out and I didn’t feel safe . I wasnt able to see all of her name tag just a bit but it started with an E . They really either need to drug test the staff or something cause that’s not ok and really unprofessional .
My wife left her kindle book in our room after checkout. When we noticed it was missing we called the hotel. Dennese...think I spelled it right..was absolutely outstanding. She went to the room and found the book which had fallen behind the headboard. Fabulous service. If whoever reviews this has any questions, I'll happily endorse her. Many thanks.
Stayed a night in March 2024. Looks like the hotel was recently renovated. The rooms are clean and shiny. Breakfast was good. And it’s about 2 hours away from Yosemite valley.
Great place, clean, new, decent price. Can't with a decent breakfast! My only complaint was that breakfast was empty and I had to ask multiple times to get eggs and bacon.
We were in town to clean our 93 year old aunts apartment. We just needed a comfortable, affordable place to sleep. We stayed at another hotel the night before and had a horrible experience. We were so excited when we went to the Holiday inn Express instead! They had real breakfast, comfortable beds, clean rooms and friendly service! We also didn't have any hidden fees which made us happy as well! We will be back!
