Holiday Inn Express Newberg - Wine Country, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Newberg - 501 Sitka Ave, USA

Our stay was wonderful!!! Every person that we encountered was warm, courteous and helpful. Gina, at the front desk, went out of her way to make our stay too rate. From answering questions to helping with booking. We are a large family and gathered here for a wedding. I would stay at any hotel where Gina is working!!!! Holiday Inn is lucky to have her💖💖💖

I was skeptical looking at the building from outside, but all changed when I entered the room. |The room is of nice size, very clean, smelled well-cleaned, modern and updated/upgraded functionality. Although, walls and door not sound proof. Refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker are working fine. |Single unit AC working fine just slightly loud. |Sleep: very comfortable bed/mattress |Breakfast: ok hot items such as scrambled eggs and sausages, in addition to biscuits and gravy. No fruits, no yogurt and no hard boiled eggs. Poor quality coffee. So, in general, very limited options but sufficient for a quick simple bite on the go. |Morning staff are very friendly and the manager allowed us to stay longer and checked us out at 12 instead 11am.|Value: may be overpriced due to lack of other better options in the area. |Rating: 4 out of 5

This was a horrible experience for me I have a service dog for my blood sugar and they charged me 70.00. The room was a nice room however I couldn’t take a very long shower as the tub filled quickly due to it being clogged sink the same gross!!!! The corners were dirty also.

Positive: Hotel employee was great with her customer service. Negative: The hot tub had way too much chlorine causing eyes to burn. The outdoor pool was freezing. The room smelled like cigarettes and then when we moved rooms next door, that room smelled like cigarettes too.

Worst experience I've ever had! Customer service was rude at check-in and the rudness continued through out the night. A/C did not work. Mold in the bathtub. Changed our room and bodily fluids on sheets and comforter. Bathtub floor was slimy. Elevator has missing buttons. Pool was so loaded with chlorine and cold you could not swim in it. Only thing that was of any decent was the breakfast.

I just want to take a minute to thank you for hiring Gina, she is so amazing. The help she gave us prior to coming was great. Once our family’s started checking in, she treated each and everyone with outstanding customer service. Thank you Gina for being you.

Not a terrible place. Room felt humid. Bathtub was starting to crack and water fixture was loose. Gym water fountain had a dirty filter. The access card did not open the gym. Had to grab a staff member daily (staff was never at front desk) to open gym. Was told its because the card also opens or its linked to the spa/pool which makes no sense. That can easily be addressed by mngmt or security. Overall it was clean and the staff was friendly. Food was ok.

Great stay. Staff very nice and accommodating especially Jayden. Room clean, comfortable bed, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Hotel located close to several restaurants and shops. Nothing was too much trouble.
