Holiday Inn Express New York Jfk Airport Area, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Jamaica - 153-70 S Conduit Ave, USA

The accomadations exceeded my expectations greatly. Our room was on the lower level because we got in late and I must admit I gave the front desk a hard time because I booked in advance, but boy was I pleasantly surprised.. To my delight the room was clean and comfortable and while I assumed being on the lower level was a travesty it actually turned out to be a saving grace.. We were conveniently located close to the dining area, gym, desk, entrance, and parking.. We could look out the window at our car! It was great!

Ended up here after finding out that the Holiday Inn on Brookville Blvd miraculously turned into a shelter...... and I didn’t find that out until 10 minutes before I arrived and only because I called to check restaurant hours. That shouldn’t have any bearing on this property but they’re part of the same company and it needed to be said. Overall my stay wasn’t bad but it’s a 2 star hotel and I really didn’t have any expectations. The room was clean but the bed wasn’t comfortable and for me, a comfortable bed is key when traveling, especially after a long day. Customer service could definitely use some work... everyone seemed to be just doing their job, nothing more. Noise levels at night were horrible, black ice all over the parking lot (and have the nerve to charge $24/night for parking) and the grounds weren’t the best kept. I definitely won’t come back or recommend.

Luggage storage room is very tiny. They couldn't fit all my luggage. On booking they mentioned they offer free breakfast which isn't true , it is like you are being robbed. Room was okay however staff were friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle was free and convenient. Some guest were smoking in their rooms and the hotel is supposed to be smoke free I don't recommend booking there especially if you are a family.

This is not our first stay at an Airport location Holiday Inn Express but they have improved much since our last stay at this brand (Florida 2017)! Evening Front desk staff were very professional, though they did forget to let the daytime staff know that our checkout was at 2:00 PM and not 11:00 AM. We got a knock at our door around 11:30 AM - letting us know that checkout was at 11:00 AM and asked were we leaving soon. The daytime Front desk staff did clear it up and clarified with the cleaning staff but we felt rushed given that I had to go down to the lobby to confirm that we were not going to be charged for an extra night and to make sure we did not make a mistake with our checkout time. Beds were comfortable and room/bathroom clean. There was no fridge in the room but one was delivered shortly after we arrived and requested one be added. I love that this brand of hotels (IHG) has large bottles of shampoo, conditional and bathing gel - the little bottles were just for one person::-) Hallway did not smell new but bearable. Breakfast had great options but no brown sugar for coffee/tea which other locations had. There was also not much room to sit in the breakfast area, which is a bummer for a large family. We had to wait until a table was vacant to sit and eat - given this was just a one night stay for a stop over, we were okay to wait but with little kids that can become difficult. I would have done 5 stars but the brown sugar did it::-) Must have our brown sugar packets for our coffee/tea!!

Airport shuttle was great. At the airport every 15min so you never have to wait long. Room was nothing special but it was clean and the A/C works really well. Late checkout was not a problem till 2pm as my flight out was later in the day. Would have been great if there was a mini bar in the room that had beer. But there is a restaurant in the area that delivers beer to your room.

Hotel is clean however I stayed here for 3 nights. I used the room for 5 hours each night to sleep then I went about my day. My room was completely vacant for the entire day. Housekeeping do not enter my room. The beds were not made, the trash was not emptied, towels were on the floor for 3 days. Needless to say I had to go take a shower at my mother's home. The service was substandard. I will never stay here again. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

After being unable to board my flight, and spending almost 12 hours at the airport until I could book another one, I booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express and was so grateful that they could have me check in very early! Super clean room, quiet and comfortable too! Incredibly friendly staff and a great snack bar in the lobby. They even have room service! Airport shuttle available too. Would recommend!

This hotel was amazing!! After an unexpected delay at JFK with a group of 30 teenagers who just wanted to be home, we found ourselves without luggage, exhausted, dirty, and more than a little crabby. The staff immediately recognized our situation and made sure rooms were ready asap. They also made sure that each person had extra towels, and essential toiletries. They helped us with places to go and things to do with stranded teens. There was even one time when the shuttle driver happened to see part of our group at the 7-11, and without being asked, waited on them and gave them a ride back to the hotel. The hotel was clean, air conditioned and had the best beds ever! Oh and the breakfast really was fantastic. Love the pancakes!
