Room has seen better days. Just stayed one night while driving through to Chicago. Room wasn’t the cleanest and rough around the edges. Blackout curtain was broken. Spiders crawling around the bathroom. In the morning took a shower and found the tub barely drains so when you’re done showering you’re in standing water. This property is in need of a deep clean and remodel. Only highlight was the bed was comfortable and the breakfast had many hot options like omelet, pancakes, biscuits&gravy, bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls. Coffee wasn’t great, Tasted a bit dirty (which given the condition of the rest of the place wouldn’t surprise me) ||Next time I’ll drive a little further to stay at a better hotel. If you can deal with lack of cleanliness, it’s a low rate for a place to sleep for a night, however I’d pay a little more next time for better accommodations elsewhere.

***UPDATE: After the hotel staff replied to my review, I reached out to the General Manager hoping to resolve my issue. However, the General Manager has ignored my emails for weeks. Any appearance of customer service here is simply the hotel putting on a show, trying to trick would-be guests into thinking they care. Don’t be fooled - just stay somewhere else.*** We had a very unpleasant stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Our room still wasn’t ready 30 minutes past the start of check-in time, and when we finally did get our room, it was another disappointment. I paid extra to book a King Standard room, but we were instead placed in a Queen Standard room without any explanation or discount. The “Queen” bed was almost certainly a Full, because it was noticeably smaller than any Queen I’ve ever slept in. There was hair in the bed and in the bathroom, and ugly water damage stains on the ceiling. I don’t want to think about what other gross, unsanitary things were present in the room that we weren’t aware of. One of the bedside outlets didn’t work, so it was difficult for us to charge all of our devices while staying in our room. All in all, this was a very disappointing stay and I’m afraid it may have put me off of the Holiday Inn brand for good.

This was the filthiest, most run down hotel I have ever stayed at. I chose to stay here because I usually have been pleased with Holiday Inn Express properties. My room smelled like urine, the air conditioner did not work, the shower did not work, paint was peeling off the bathroom door, floors stained and dirty, and there were bugs crawling on bed and walls. Horrible. It was not isolated to just my room, as my dad’s room had the same problem. He killed 6 bugs, and came up with a strategy to leave the bathroom light on to attract the bugs to the bathroom so he didn’t have to worry about them while he slept. We stayed here because my mom was recently transferred to Froedtert Hospital and we needed to be with her each day. This hotel is very conveniently located to the hospital however it made a really tough situation even worse to have to come back to this gross hotel. We just were emotionally drained and didn’t have time to find a different hotel, but would not want anyone else in our situation to have to go through this.You shouldn’t have to go home after a hotel stay and immediately feel like you need a shower and to wash all of your clothes on the sanitizer cycle. I did mention all of this to the front desk, and they offered me extra points for the inconvenience. I declined because I don’t even want to see the extra points on my account as a reminder of this stay.

The room smelled like a locker room and was unable to open a window to allow it to refresh a little bit. Shower would not turn on for my wife so that was a nice way to start the day. Breakfast food was scarce at best. No cheese omlets, cinnamon rolls or yogurt were available. Waited 5-10 minutes and finally settled for pancakes. No help to clean off tables in the eating area (very disgusting). When checking out I told the front desk clerk that the ice machine was not operating on the 3rd level beside the elevator. Her reply was "Yup we know about that."

Fantastic room! The shower is amazing! Lots of hot water and very roomy! People are fantastic as well. Only bad things is that the toilet doesn't flush all the time so you have to wait a bit, and the shower needs some rough texture to keep from slipping.

My husband and I stayed here for a night after a friend's wedding. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We called ahead and they said it would be fine to check in early - which was great! The rooms were clean, but a little rundown. The bathroom was pretty small. Overall, for a one night stay it was a nice, clean place to sleep that was budget friendly. It's in a great spot too - right off the highway and within walking distance from the Mayfair mall.

Good location, off I-41 just north of I-94. Parking is tight, especially at night.||Checked in mid afternoon and was immediately given my room. Typical HIE: comfortable bed, clean, weak shower pressure.||Breakfast was a little light, low on meat. No pool.||Fast check out.||Would consider again when in the Milwaukee area.

The lady at the counter was extreme pleasant and took care of our issue immediately. We had a room that was not thoroughly cleaned. There was cigarette butts on the balcony (looked they have been there a while too mixed with leaves), garbage on the carpet and tobacco remnants on the nightstand. We winded up switching rooms. When we told the manager vía survey, we received a generic response from them that was basically copies and pasted. Showed us they didn't care about feedback nor wanting to rectify the situación. Will not return.
