Holiday Inn Express Ludlow - Chicopee Area, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Ludlow - 321 Center St, USA

Came in after 9 PM, the receptionist was very friendly, acknowledged my status, thanked me for staying, had my key ready and give breakfast instructions in about a minute. The room was very clean and the bed lined comfortable. The room temp was set perfectly, even though it was snowing, most places set it too hot or cold. The room and bath were very clean...didn't look like it was ridden hard and put up wet, like other IHG properties. On checkout, it took one minute to obtain a receipt. Very friendly staff.

Reservations were made on short notice, desk agent was able to help. We stayed 6 nights. Room was clean and well lit. Staff were friendly and courteous. Special mention about the breakfast room staff. Food was good, room was well kept, attendants were good at anticipating questions about the food and other amenities. We will stay here again.

Positive: It was a good location for our needs. We thought the staff was good and the rooms were clean. The attendant at breakfast was excellent. Negative: Wish there had been more to choose from at break fast. That said I thought the attendant at breakfast was excellent.

I think this is the cleanest Holiday Inn we have stayed in. Staff seemed annoyed not sure why. I had to pay when I checked-in which I never have to do at any other Holiday Inns. Shower temp was good for me but my husband likes hotter water, we did take showers around 11 AM. Breakfast was good as always again very clean, we did eat later probably 9:45 felt like we were being pushed out. I get it they were there early and probably just want to start cleaning. We would definitely stay again you can tell that with how clean it was the people working put pride in that.

Holiday Inn Express Ludlow is an older but okay motel. If our bathroom was better we would given this motel a much higher rating. Our shower was horrible. It has nothing in the tub for nonslip. The bathtub drain drains very slowly. My wife fell in the shower. We reported it to the local management. The employee at the front desk told us that her manager was on the phone and they will get back with us. So we filled out an incident report from Holiday Inn. It has currently been approximately 12 hours since we were told that we would receive a phone call from their local manager. We have NOT received any phone call as of the time that we are writing this review. We are IHG members. We will NOT stay at this location again. We do NOT recommend anyone else to stay at this location until they fix their problems.

We stayed here for 1 night. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was had really good choices to my surprise. I’m always weird about hotel breakfast, but this one had great options, Especially for kids. Would 100% stay here again.

Parking lot is tiny. If you have a truck do not come to this lot. I asked the gal in hotel if I could park near the back so I’m out of peoples way and she said no which is fine but there’s barely any other parking. When you’re a truck driver and short on time you sometimes have no other choices. Also I drank all of my water on this day and usually most holiday inns have a snack rooms, well this one only has vending machines and all they have in their vending machines is soda. I asked the same lady in the front desk if I could buy a water she said no they are only for gold and platinum guest. Which I’m a platinum guest and she said well you had the 500 points deposited. I said well take those out I’ll take the water. She said she couldn’t do that. I know this is something small but she was very rude and if she was in my shoes I’d give her a damn water. Good thing there’s still amazing people out there because some very kind ladies that were staying here for a wedding were nice enough to give me water! Thanks to them! But the service level at this hotel is lacking. It’s a water! Provide them for your guest or make sure your vending machines are stocked.

The stay was quiet. The room was ok just wish it was bigger. The turkey sausage was undercooked. Wish they had bacon. The staff was friendly. The guest was a bit rude and mean. I enjoyed it.
