Holiday Inn Express Little Rock-Airport, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Little Rock - 3121 Bankhead Dr, USA

The Holiday Inn express saved our vacation and visit to see the eclipse. After being robbed earlier in our road trip, the staff at Holiday Inn Express was kind and welcoming. They were patient as we found a creative solution since we didn’t have our credit cards anymore. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Plenty of parking that felt safe. The pool was a fun treat! And truly lovely people at the desk! Thank you again!

Close to airport. Rooms are not that great. Curtains to long and have to fold them up to close because they cover AC. Stains on carpet. Not a welcoming feeling when you enter reception area. Receptionist was very pleasant and nice.

I stayed here for a business meeting. Honestly, this hotel needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. I don’t know how it carries the Holiday Inn Express name. It surely doesn’t meet their standards. It is so old there is no fixing it. It smells so bad. The room was very dark and not clean. The bed was not comfortable and I got very little sleep. I think the staff tries but it’s just beyond fixing. I will never stay here again. It’s close to the airport and they do let you park here and provide a shuttle, but they charge for parking so it’s more convenient just to park at the airport.

Wouldn't bother staying here, especially if you are using rewards points to book. Hotel management would not let our parents check in to the room we booked for them using our rewards points. Their initial reasoning was that our parents were not listed on the room. We called corporate, and corporate added them to the reservation. They still would not honor the room. Corporate called the hotel directly and told them they could not refuse the room. They still would not honor it and continued to yell on the phone with corporate for the next fifteen minutes. They later told our parents that they don't want people with points to check in because they use the points then complain because the rooms are so poorly cared for then get all their points back. I would advise anyone to go to another location. I would not leave any stars if that were possible. The individuals at corporate were very pleasant to deal with, however, and we ended up booking my parents in a hotel that was more accommodating.

What a nightmare! 1. Our first floor room was a very, very long walk through the hotel. 2. Other guests on the elevator said that their key did not work, and they had to walk all the way back to the front desk. 3.T he room smelled very musty. 4. The toilet refilled so slowly that I had to refill it with a trash can from the bath tub. 5. Worst of all: The bed came crashing down at 4 a.m. in the morning. What a rude awakening in the middle of the night! The bedframe broke. 6. The carpet in the entraceway was soping wet. 7. Broken lampshade. 8. I prepaid $5 for a breakfast that was not worth $3. 9. The only good aspect of this stay was that the front desk personnel and restaurant personnel were very pleasant, although they did not offer me compensation for the broken bed and non working toilet. I have been traveling for over thirty years and have never experienced anything like this. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again. VHR

I was disappointed. They miss the details. The pool was dirty and I could not have my grandkids come swim. It looked like the filter had not been run in a while. The room was on the inner circle so it had 2 doors. On one door the deadbolt couldn't be used as the door was hung wrong. I found a bug in the bathroom. Curtains not hung up all the way. It was a sad hotel experience.

The customer service at this hotel is the worse I have encountered. The people who work here have no customer services skills and no urgency to help the customers. The hotel is outdated and smells bad. The bathroom in the room I stayed in stunk so bad. The shower curtain was broken. Also, they need to put better curtains in the room. The room I got was on the first floor and anyone walking by could see inside my room. Their shuttle service is a mess and I was told that it runs starting at 4am and every 30 minutes. Turns out that’s not the case and I ended up calling a Lyft or I would’ve missed my flight. When I checked out, I requested a receipt for my stay and was told by the lady at the front desk that one would me emailed to me. Two days later, I had to call them because I never got my receipt. I called the first time to request the receipt and the male who answered stated that he was too busy to help me, and told me to call back later. I called back later and a female stated she was going to email it to me, but I never got it. I called back again and the same female stated that she had sent it earlier, and resent it again. Then she said that if I don’t receive it, to call back in the morning and speak to the manager. She said that she emailed it the way she knows how but was not sure if it’s going through. Needless to say, I’m gonna have to call back in the morning to speak to the manager because I never got the receipt, I need to submit it for reimbursement. I only stayed at this hotel because I had no choice after my flight was canceled. I didn’t have a car and this hotel was close to the airport. My experience as a customer was terrible from the moment I called the hotel to make a reservation to the moment I checked out of this place.

Do not book here! As a Platinum Elite member for more than a decade, who also travels a lot for work across the last two decades, this is the only hotel I have ever had a problem with. The staff is rude and the hotel does not follow IHG policies. Their double beds aren't queens, so expect to get squeezed. The "complementary shuttle" for the airport listed in the IHG app and on Google under amenities when I booked... it wasn't complementary, it was $8 per person. Lies, false advertising, poor treatment of customers, ignores IHG rewards terms and conditions... Do yourself a HUGE favor and book anywhere else. Zero-star location.
