Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia Arpt, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Flushing - 113-10 Horace Harding Expy, USA

FYI: it's a homeless shelter now, don't know how long it's been like that but just heads up so no one tries to book anything here. I've seen a lot of comments/reviews elsewhere from 2023 saying that they booked a room, only to find out upon arriving there that they were closed. The worst thing is that the hotel allegedly never reached out to anyone to let them know and just closed their doors.

I stayed here with my two children and husband for a very brief stay. The room was very clean and the staff were very nice. Our bath didn't work properly which isn't a huge problem but when travelling with two kids, a broken bath is not ideal. The beds and sheets were comfortable. I love that you can earn points for re-using your towels and sheets for longer stays (it pays to be eco!). The staff gave our son some popcorn for the room which he loved, a nice gesture. ||A good choice for a quick stay with easy parking. No bells and whistles at this hotel, very functional and located right by the expressway. We had a good stay here.

Nice stay overall for one night. The staff members I interacted with were very friendly. Nice, comfortable bed and I was able to get a lot of sleep. Cleanliness overall could be improved in certain areas of the room, especially the bathroom. However, it was not a huge issue for me. I used the gym room which was small, but did the job. The shuttle to the airport was a great addition and I booked the hotel specifically for that purpose. I also appreciate that they offer a shuttle service to the mall every hour.

I stayed at the HIE LaGuardia airport for two nights on a business trip. After a long day of travel, I was greeted with a warm smile at this property. The front desk staff was extremely responsive from the moment I got off the plane. I called the hotel to arrange shuttle pickup from LGA and was advised the shuttle was already there waiting for me. Nancy, at the front desk, was in almost constant communication with me to coordinate the pickup at the airport. Despite my confusion regarding terminal locations, she successfully directed me and the shuttle to an easy pickup and meeting point. I was provided water and a room upgrade upon check-in. As a somewhat demanding business traveler, the staff at this hotel adapted to meet my needs at every opportunity and I was not told "no" one time during my stay. The property manager was onsite and present seemingly constantly, and he took time to ensure I was accommodated and my needs were being met. This is a very well managed property with an excellent staff. My room was even cleaned while I was at breakfast...a pleasant surprise. I have spent about 6 cumulative months at IHG properties over the past 18 months, and I believe this is the best staff I have encountered! The location of this hotel is not great, but the almost on-demand shuttle service and the responsiveness of the front desk staff negates any issues caused by physical location. I would absolutely recommend this property to a fellow business traveler, and I look forward to my next trip NYC. .

The hotel stay was everything I wanted and more! The bed, pillows and comforter were probably the comfiest I've ever had in a hotel. Room had everything I needed, besides a bottle opener which someone on staff let me borrow they're own personal one which was very nice. All the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful on every shift. The complimentary breakfast was very good (especially the turkey sausage and cinnamon rolls lol). One downside I can think of is that it did seem getting to the subway to buy a metro card was a bit of a walk, next time would take an Uber or taxi, but once you have the card, public transportation makes it easy to get to and from the hotel. I also did not all the staff for help, they may know a better solution. Another downside for me was be the noise from the highway right next to the hotel. Regardless, would 100% stay here again and fully recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for one night after a late night flight. The shuttle picked us up at the airport and even though we had to wait like 30 minutes, it was worth the wait. The driver that picked us up was not as nice as the one the next morning but he was okay. We were greeted by a very nice young lady (night auditor) who checked us in, she was so nice, friendly and very helpful. She gave us information on the hotel, the area, and what to do in the city. I wish I had asked for her name. In the morning breakfast was warm, the attendant kept the area clean and was always vigilant in case we needed anything. There was a good variety of breakfast items and coffee is available 24/7. Definitely a great deal for the price. I will certainly stay here again!

Staff was efficient, helpful and more than kind to a very tired international traveler. My room was large and spacious the bathroom was immaculate clean and also larger than usual. Looks as if it was recently renovated. Really nice Bath products shampoo and conditioner I think it was Bath and Body Works. The bed was a king size incredibly comfortable supportive firm mattress with cotton sheets. Breakfast was above average for this type facility. Shuttle to LGA was on time and driver was gracious and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were wonderful. They made sure we were informed about the status of the shuttle. The construction and traffic made it difficult to get to us. We had a 11:30 pm arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful. The popcorn upon arrival was a nice touch. The breakfast was appreciated as usual. The breakfast and shuttle of Holiday Inn Express hotels are the main reason we continue to return. The price also helps.
