Holiday Inn Express Kansas City Downtown - Hotel in Kansas City - 417 E 13th St, USA

The room was wonderful and the breakfast was very nice. Everyone was very good to us. It was the best place we stayed over the course of our cross country trip. We liked the way that it seemed to match up with the vibe of the downtown. Our room was very comfortable and, was well appointed. We will definitely be returning!

My best friend and I stayed in this hotel for the Mariah Carey Christmas Show at T-Mobile Center on 11/24/2023. Walking in to the lobby from the parking lot, an immediate sweet aroma surrounded us. The lobby was beautiful, with a fully decorated Christmas tree and sparking lights. Our room was wonderful and pleasant to the eye. It was clean and we loved that we could see my car from the window, and could see the concert venue from the window. The breakfast on Friday morning was good (except for the food wasn't hot enough and there was no microwave to heat it up) and the staff very friendly. The only "down" issues to the stay was that we had to call to the front desk twice for the thermostat to be adjusted (it was "restricted" to us in the room), and the television. I was hoping to be able to use my fire stick to watch TV, but it wouldn't allow it, so we had to "watch TV" on our phones. Nothing good was on the TV channels; there wasn't even a guide to show what was playing. Lastly, I wish they had a "prorating" system for the stays because we left the hotel right after the concert (we checked out around 11pm). We didn't not "stay the night," but I was charged for a full night. I wouldn't mind staying at this facility again, but I'd only hope they'd resolve the "down" issues I've mentioned. I will check around to other lodging facilities before I make my final decision next time I plan to visit KC.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic. The staff was welcoming/friendly/helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom was fully stocked (4 sets of towels). The bed/pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was fully stocked with a large variety of choices. There were multiple breakfast staff to make sure everything remained full; and were extremely helpful.

We were delighted with the Holiday Inn Express-Downtown KC from the start of our stay to the moment we drove away. The is bright, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and much better than expected. Additionally, the property is very conveniently located for exploring the city without the press of traffic and crowds.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was perfect with lots of natural light and a comfortable bed. There are both soft and firm pillows on the bed, so you are almost guaranteed a good night's sleep. The breakfast was good and I enjoyed the pleasant attitude of thr breakfast attendant each morning. Location was great for T-Mobile Center and the Federal Building. Highly recommend staying here!

The stay was so relaxing!! The room and accommodations were comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive to whatever you might need!! Michael was especially kind and helpful. The breakfast was fresh, hot and had a good variety. Peggy Ann, the singing cook was a bright spot and blessing each morning too. The proximity to the T-Mobile arena was so convenient, while we attended a basketball holiday tournament!!

I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn in Kansas City and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with smiles and good service. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel amenities were great as well, with a solid exercise center. I was a little sad they had no pool or hot tub but overall a great stay!

Recently attended an NCAA basketball game at T-Mobile Center and this hotel could have not been a better choice! Its next door to the center, within 1-2 blocks of all that the Power and Light District has to offer. The hotel staff were polite, professional, and overall great people. The hotel is clean and accommodating.
