Holiday Inn Express Grants Pass, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (606)
Beautiful location, beautiful city, and beautiful hotel. But the real reason for this review is to commend the extraordinary hospitality and customer service of this Holiday Inn Express location -- particularly, that of the front desk employee, Michael. In all of my hotel stays, Michael was by far the most polite, kind, and helpful hotel staff I've encountered. We encountered difficulty booking our stay after we used a third-party booking service. Michael helped navigate this stressful problem step by step, and with his help, we were able to seamlessly resolve the issue. However, I cannot emphasize this enough: Do NOT book through third-party platforms if you can avoid it. They are more trouble than good!
We will absolutely be returning to this location on our next trip. A special thank you and shout out to the hotel staff of this location that make it one-of-a-kind!
PS: Great coffee!
We booked through app an hour before arriving around 730pm and the front desk staff were ready for us as soon as we arrived. I can't remember his name but the gentleman was very friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with a dog and they gave us two milk bones at check in. We stayed in room 100 which was right next to snacks, fitness room, and breakfast room. We could hear housekeeping some because we were right next to the laundry room but it only seemed to bother the dog. Room was clean. I have no complaints.
Michael was a great hire by Holiday Inn! We were driving from WA to CA and needed a spot to rest our heads as the drive was catching up to us! For what we paid, the level of comfort and cleanliness we got was incredible. We were SO pleased with how well maintained the room was. My boyfriend couldn’t stop talking about how comfy the bed was. Michael greeted us at almost 2am with the friendliest service and got us in our room quick and easy! Holiday Inn will definitely be our go to for stops now. Couldn’t have slept any better for the long drive ahead today!
People next door to use were so loud they kept us up ALL NIGHT. I call the desk 2 times. They said the hotel was full and could not move us. So disappointed and so tired.
When I complained the next day the manager gave me $20 off. $20!!! I wanted SLEEP NOT $20! Management later offered a free night stay but NEVER responded to me on that.
Thin walls, building says holiday Inn express, but the walls are not the same. This one is privately owned and is not like the regular ones I stay at.
I feel it was like false advertisement !!
The coffee was not even ready in the morning!!
9:20am housekeeping opened our door after we repeatedly yelled through the door we were in the room. The door was too small for the frame. We could clearly see the hallway through the cracks all around the door. So I knew she could hear us. Carpet beetles alive on the bed. The construction of the hotel is questionable with the gaps between the each of the walls and ceiling. We arrived at midnight and was walking around normal and quiet, doing normal things like changing and going to the bathroom when the downstairs neighbor banged very hard on our floor. We are average weight and all had only socks on at this point, adults and older teens. Then our phone rang and it was just a dial tone. We turned off the lights and could clearly see the hallway through the door. I did not feel safe in this hotel. I would not recommend staying here. Pool is small, don't be fooled by photos.
The best lodging experience during my adventures in Oregon. Friendly and courteous staff, clean rooms, hot showers, and fantastic views. I stayed here for 3 nights. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through Grant's Pass. Kudos to Keri and her interesting conversations and appreciation for the photography work I did at Crater Lake National Park.
The interior of the rooms is getting very outdated, however, everything is super clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. I like this Holiday Inn because they allow me to bring my dog when I'm in Grants Pass visiting my mother. And then of course there are the cinnamon rolls for breakfast that are simply addicting! I do recommend this hotel Wednesday in Grants Pass.
The front desk staff were friendly. The room was clean. The hotel needs a remodel. Hotel food isn't worth eating. The hotel advertises a pool and hot tub, but doesn't have them. There are no real ammenities. Grants Pass is worth driving past. Stay at Homewood Suites in Medford.

Right next to a busy roadway and bridge but the rooms must be well insulated because you don't really hear much noise. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and comfortable, very clean.
