Holiday Inn Express Grand Island - Niagara Falls, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (700)
We enjoyed our stay here, and it was very convenient for our trip to Niagara Falls (easy access on/off the interstate). The bed was pleasantly comfortable and the room was very clean. We enjoyed the gym and the pool while there also. They do have a rooftop place to eat, but unfortunately it was closed during our stay. They offer free breakfast everyday however that is where I was disappointed. I'm not sure if it's just trying to keep up with so many guests or short staffed, but the biscuits both day were hard bricks, potatoes hard and eggs bottom of the pan. This was my only negative experience of the stay, but I would definitely recommend it to any traveler. The patio we had was very nice to sit and drink your in room coffee and watch the geese.
The hotel was pretty clean. However, the shower could use a good bleaching there was some mold. The sofa bed was TERRIBLY uncomfortable, VERY thin mattress, caused back pain. The air couldn’t be controlled, room was always stuffy. New bed sheets were not put on when old sheets Needed replaced, (had sick baby). Some of Front desk rude staff. WAY too much chlorine in pool, irritated skin. Once someone was reached at front desk, service was good. Just couldn’t reach front desk easily, if at all. Soap, conditioner, shampoo was nice in bathroom. Location to Niagara was good. Main beds were comfortable.
Well maintained hotel rooms. Neat and clean. They have a variety of Breakfast including hot omelet potato wedges biscuit and gravy. Pool is decent. Though it is not near Niagara falls well worth the stay.
Too often my job sends me to absolute roach motels. This place, thankfully, is not one of them. I've had to write terrible reviews of other properties I've stayed at across the state. It's nice to, for once, be giving a hotel accolades for cleanliness and comfort. Good job Holiday Inn! I will be back!
Rooms are spacious and good. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is terrible. Semi warm, rubbery gravy. Over cooked microwave egg and packaged muffins. Didn’t try the pancake maker. Oatmeal was runny and we didn’t have the biscuits as they were out. Coffee was decent. Only had vanilla yogurt. Staff was friendly but breakfast was disappointing.
this hotel was very accommodating to us when a concern was expressed about being on the first floor they put us on the third floor in a beautiful, clean and modern room. They were very helpful every time we asked a question and the breakfast was outstanding! when it turned into Sunday evening and food restaurant options were minimal they had quite a great selection in their grocery store to be able to purchase things and heat up in the room Location was great as far as coming and going to all the fun activities in Niagara Falls
My wife is disabled and was looking forward to going in the pool. On the website there was a pool lift to get her in. We also called ahead to verify this. When we got there we were told it hasn't been working for a year. Also we got a room with a pull out bed and there was no bedding for it. There were not enough towels and finally they charged us $25 extra without telling us. Skip this place.
The hotel is very nice. Seems kind of new but it is a nice hotel. The parking around the hotel is lacking. We ended up parking in a lot that seemed a little far from the hotel. Maybe 2 or 300 feet but all the rest was adjacent to the building. Not a deal breaker, just a little less convenient. We tried the rooftop bar and I have yo say, I can't remember paying so much for 2 drinks. Not high end drinks either, just 2 mixed drinks and a tip. Over $30. Wow. We tried to get some food but 45 minutes after ordering, we told the waitress to cancel it since it still was not being prepared. Short staffed I was told but there was a private party using most of the area that was getting food served pretty steady. Overall, we liked the hotel alot but would not use the rooftop bar again.

Great campground! Everything is clean and very well taken care of. The restrooms are equipped and maintained - not your typical camp ground expectations. Great showers! The camp spots aren't super private but they're big enough that there's good spac
Excellent facility with everything modern in the rest room as that is the reason I stopped here on my way to Canada. There is also fast WiFi. Iâm sure this welcome center has more to offer during regular business hours but I was still impressed whe

We had our final summer hoorah here over Labor Day. Our typical beach is Woodlawn but we decided to give the island a go. Unlike Woodlawn, Beaver Island has compact, walkable sand but the water is quite rocky. Bring your water shoes and youâre sure
It was clean... beach was sandy.... in the water was sandy with some smooth rocks mostly sand though as whole the beach and park was clean with plenty of picnic tables very close to the water and some grills .. great on a hot day with clear warm wate
