Holiday Inn Express Glenwood Springs (Aspen Area), an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Glenwood Springs - 501 W 1st St, USA

Great location for family visit without car rental willing to walk a couple of blocks. Came in on Amtrak and half of us went skiing and with a quick call to shuttle to Sunshine picked up right at lobby. Other half went to amusement park and gondolas leave from right behind hotel. There is a free bus that circulated on a 30 minute schedule that picks up a block away that can get you pretty much anywhere you need to go but stops running at seven PM (almost got stranded but bus driver took pity on us). Always felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed stay!!!

The hotel is well located for the town, walking distance to everything on the spings side of the I70. We had a good room on the top floor, plenty big enough for the 4 of us. Breakfast is a little cramped but they make it work with what they have. The pool is tiny but the springs are 10 mins away and worth a visit. However I'm only really writing the review to comment on what an awesome job the lady manning the front desk did while we we there. They had a number of power issues while we stayed, resulting in loss of internet/TV for long periods of time. Alesha was an absolute trooper doing her best to deal with this, relentlessly cheerful and helpful despite not having any real control over something that was caused by vehicle fire elsewhere. While we had breakfast she had to deal with a number of unpleasant customers losing their temper (its a TV get over it is what I would have said!) and calls. She was great and should get a bonus for what she had to deal with.. Great job Alesha!

The staff was friendly. The upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom. Was clean and the amenities were nice. The location of the hotel was perfect for our visit to the hot springs. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Positive: Great location, able to walk to park & River. We did not go to the Glenwood adventure park, but that is walking distance also. Our dog was welcome. Loved the dog area outside - very convenient. We could have also walked to nearby restaurants if we wanted Negative: There were dispensers for sanitizer (eg at elevator) & wipes (fitness center) located throughout but none of them had any sanitizer in them. Colorado is unfortunately getting hit with Covid again and I would¿ve liked to of been able to use them.

This place was clean both inside and out. The staff was very accommodating and nice. Our two queen size beds room was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfy. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was very good. I thought that the room rate was a bit high end, but anywhere in Colorado is that way. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Glenwood Springs.|

Clean hotel with close proximity to everything. The facilities looked very modern and updated. There was only a small issue with the bathroom and the shower where it got very wet because the shower floor was too close to the bathroom floor, but other than that everything was perfect.

Stayed in this hotel while visiting Glenwood Hot Springs. Check in process was very quick and efficent, room clean and comfortable and overall atmosthere is laid back and relaxed. Will certainly consider staying in this hotel in the future

Walking distance to Iron Mountain Hot springs and restaurants. It would be nice if they could extend the breakfast time to later on Friday besides Saturday and Sunday. It's my first time staying at this hotel in Glenwood and we will definitely consider coming back.
